Great story Tony.

I found that a small bowl of ammonia in the right location does wonders for warding off raccoons, and bears as well.,

Hi Tomahawk, Chill dude. ;) I don't think anyone is getting upset. We've been making knives since 1981. Of couse it is an advantage to be able to hold and test a knife in a store, but most stores are reluctant to carry Spydercos. They are expensive. They look unusual to the inexperienced knife user....

We brought the molds to the US and we're working on making it in Golden.

It was considered an auto by customs. 1" blade and all.

Put new slabs on, made of micarta, G-10 or whatever is to your fancy and get a kydex or leather sheath and you got a super duper outdoors knife.
Piet, Modifying isn't always upgrading. ;)

Hi Tomahawk, It's easier for me to believe that your friend is mistaken. 1200 interviews is quite a few and his conclusion is, in my opinion, unrealistic. P.S. I carry a Cold Steel Viet-Nam T...

Hi Joe, Thanx for the kind words. Now if I could only get Sal to make a sprint run sometime of the even better vascowear/cruwear ( tougher, better wear resistance, though not as good corrosion wise as D2, but not as bad as say 1095 either) Maybe Vascowear might make an interestinf M ule Team. I have...

We've been making minor "tweaks" to the design for a while. What we really need to do is upgrade the design. We've just been too busy. We've had discussion in the past about what improvements to make, maybe later this year we can address again what you would like to see improved and why. sal

hi Tomahawk, Interesting question. Even more interesting posts. I'll try to shed some light on the discussion. Regarding your cop friend, I fon't know who he's talking to. We have a design for a G-10 D'Allara. Some refinements were made to make it narrower closed. There were also a few other modifications made that we learned from the FRN version. It still uses a full sized ball instead of a cage because I believe the "open free ball" works well with the des...
