I use the Sharpmaker, not only because I feel it's the best system, but because I've tried at free handing with DMT's, and benchstones, and little success!!! Not having steady hands does'nt help though.

While I like G-10 as much as I like FRN, I think the H1PK/Pocket Salt (? ) should have yellow FRN handles. All H1-equipped Spydies to date have had either FRN or SS handles, and I think there's no need to change that. Besides, there's no other Spydie in yellow G-10, while there are quite a few in y...

Does the UK Pen Knife have an insert in the backspring where the clip screws go? I ask because I just got an orange one and with the clip out and one screw out I cannot remove the other screw as it looks like it keeps spinning the threads on the inside of the knife. I believe I stripped the screw a...

You know, keeping the blade absolutely vertical is not the easiest thing to do. I really have to concentrate to do it, keep my wrist sort of locked, etc. I was thinking that it might be a good idea to have some sort of rod that you could attach the the spine that would extend perpendicular from the...

In many ways it's very similar. The biggest downside to the T-Mag (other than cost) is that the non-lockup isn't particularly secure. Using the finger choil is an absolute must. I actually prefer the T-Mag blade shape over any of those featured on the slippit range. That's why I'm looking forward t...
