One small note to remember:
Don't forget to remove your Spydercard from your wallet before leaving home. This is one goodie that may be considered consealed if boarding a plane.
It wouldn't be too hard to forget, as it sits so comfortably in there.

Carlos,
If the tooling costs are THAT high, then I woul have to aggree with you. My thoughts were simply, to keep the FORUM model seperate, the inlay would show it apart from the other models very quickly.
Afterall, unless everyone has a lot of money, we must be careful for what we ask.

I'm not sure about the metal content in the ceramic, but I would'nt want to get caought trying to ANY type of knife on board a flight. That person would be for a lot of trouble, good 'guy' or not.

And we thought it was hard to get through security before, I can't imagine the problems we will see at airports and the border after yesterdays attack.

Hang on, it looks like we are in for a rough ride. It's a different world now.

Well, I'm in for 2:
CALYPSO Jr., PLAIN Edge, Dark GREEN with White Spyder inlay. (I have left the inlay to the choice of Spyderco)

We should start counting or Sal wont know how many there is to justify the build..

While I too would find a forum knive in FRN less attractive, than the black G10 with white mother of pearl on our Military's, I think that we should be considerate in our wishes of our friends at Spyderco. While it would cost us a few more $ for G10 on a on knive that dosn't presently get one, it wo...

My choise from the Next Spyderco Forum Knife Thread, So my choice in summary: CALYPSO Jr., PLAIN Edge, Dark GREEN with White mother of pearl inlay. If the choice goes to any other color, I'm still in, if the configuration is Calypso Jr. Plainedge. I still think that this is the Next Generation of sp...

ok Sal, that whould help narrow it down logicaly... Soooo....let's start with an FRN model. While Endura is my first pick, it may be too big for some states to carry legally, so I would have to say, CALYPSO Jr. (I think this is the next generation of Spyderco's.) let's pick one....plain or serrated ...

Your getting closer SAMO. I like your idea of an Endura with an Inlay. The inlay could be of either stainless or mother of pearl. Maybe we should stick with mother of pearl Sypder inlay and use this to have the Forum knives stand out. The Endura or Delica would be a statement on the models that have...

I use the Ladybug more like an Exacto knife, but if her knife will get a bit heaver use, I'd go with the Dragonfly, or Calypso Jr., or Delica ......lots of choices.

Well, as Samo says, if its buy the numbers, 1 have 3 Enduras, so I'd say ENDURA. Otherwise it's SO tough to pick just one.

I have used my Endura for quite a few camping chores and it really does a great job. I would also recommend the Military, but it depends on what feels good in your hand. Both of these are a fair size, and it really depends on what you want to do with it. For heavy chores, I use a Buck 119. If it's m...

While I have both knives, I do not like the hook placement on the Snapit. However, I have yet to find that it gets in way sufficiently to make it a problem. On the other hand, be careful with the remote release. I have found that it can become 'un-hooked' when you least expect it to. I have temporar...

I always have my Snap-it on my car keys, by Ladybug on my house keys, my Spydercard in my wallet, and my Provenator for a money clip (clip is worth more than what it's carrying [:-)]), then I rotate my Calypso Jr, and Endura SS in my right front pocket, depending on where I'm going. I have one of the "Sharpmaker"s from way back, and I still have a hard time justifing a 204. I can still but a wicked edge on with the oldy, but I have only 1 problem, and that is buying replacement stones. The newer stones are smaller, and do not fit as tight in the holes. However, with a...

Way to go VampyreWolf, welcome to the club.

I have always found that a cut from a sharp knife will heal much faster that a cut from a dull knife.

That's another reason for keeping your knife well maintained.
