Sorry. Could be more specific. I would like a close up edge photo of serrations that have been sharpened. It would help me to sharpen my serrations. Basically. After you have sharpened your serrations, take a photo of the edge. I am new to serrations. and by seeing how other peoples serrations look ...

My pictures
I only have 2 Spyderco's. The Delica 4 and Salt1. They are my first spyderco's and I love them. I haven't had time to take pics of the Salt1 but here are the ones of the D4. Hope you enjoy. http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s90/geronki/P3190009.jpg http://i150.photobucket.com/albums/s90/geronki/P31...

Advise
If you whant to cut the decks griptape with not much effort all you do is stick the tape on and takr a peace of steel. scrape along the edge where the tape and deck meets. That will take of exess grip and cut on that white line that forms when its scraped. Use to work in skate shop.

I would say gor for plain edge first. Serrations are very tricky if you start with them (For me it was) I think your opinion on using the Leatherman for serrated cutting will work. Plain edge will help you with learning how to sharpen at the right edge geometry and then go into serrations and sharpe...

Got my Second Spyderco
I was walking around an outdoor shop and saw they stocked Spyderco. As I was looking I saw the Salt 1 and the :spyder: bit me! Walked out with that little green box in my hand and the knife is as expected from Spyderco all that it should be!

Spyder species
Hi Jeff. Sorry to dissapoint. It is a Pisauridae (nursery web or fishing spiders). Follow this link. http://www.museums.org.za/bio/spiderweb/pisauridae.htm It gives more info. Anyway. Harmless to man. Had one of these also in the garden, but bit scared of it. http://www.museums.org.za/bio/spiderweb/...

Wave
The wave is very nice, but one thing that I like even more is that it is not an outomatic. It is not spring assisted like the outburst from crkt or the speedsafe from kershaw. Its all momentum and gravity ans its fast! Here is a link to Mr. Emerson where they demonstrate thewave on the commander mod...

Cable tie
Is the cable tie some form of wave device? Jip it is. Some members on bladeforums showed theyre home made waves and because I do not want to make permanent changes to my knives I liked the cable tie idea. If I get bored with it I can just cut it off. Here is the link to bladeforums: http://www.blad...

Edge Help
I was just wondering: What is the edge degree of the serrations on a D4? It looks something like 15-20* but I don't know. The reason I ask is when I need to sharpen my serrations one day I would like to keep it as close as possible to the factory edge.
Thanks for any help.

Hey everyone. I am in need of some help. What is the best way to sharpen the serrations on a Delica 4? I have a Lansky spyderco sharpener but I don't know. On other knives it did not keep the "original shape"(serrations did not look like it use to) of the serrations. Any advise on sharpene...

Patents?
I am still new to spyderco and I just wanted to know a few things, I know the spyderhole is one of spydies patents, but was :spyder: the first to bring out serrations, and was :spyder: the first to bring out the pocket clip for one hand opening? Last but not least. Just downloaded a wallpaper and it...

My first Spyderco
Yesterday I recivied my first spydie. Its a D4 and I love it. The fit and finish is great and there is NO bladeplay. Spydie just got a new fan! In short I love it. The VG-10 is scary sharp and I have large hands and the ergonomics fit me well of the handle. This is also my first FRN handle and even ...
