Recently I've been looking at UltiClip as an option. You might be interested.

Re: Damascus Shaman

A titanium bolster for possibility of anodization randomization would be cool. Maybe brass or copper to change balance. Also different optional micartas (paper, linen, burlap) in differing colors. Spyderco could offer 3 or so different micarta insert variants & the rest of the 10 scale variants ...

Aside from what everyone else has said,
The best thing about a knife is the sound some of them make upon opening. Also best others have is the silence upon deploying.

Re: ZDP-189 vs M4 for rainy west coast living?

ZDP-189 VS. M4 I'd go with the M4 because I find the performance better among the two. I've been using Break Free Collector Gun Wipes to tame the M4. I carry 1 wipe inside of a keychain pill bottle & reapply on the go. I've been using the same 1 wipe since I purchased them. At this rate, the con...

This is the one we’re talking about right? Love the look of this thing, lefty friendly carry option please. 2EE94B43-E34F-4871-9336-F32896184526.jpeg
I can see a tip-up wire clip left or right as a good-look.

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

Lumens are total light output, and they only tell half the story. We need to know what the candela (cd), or intensity, of each light is. The Wowtac A1 that I linked above has a turbo mode of 550 lumens output, and 10520 cd. My Olight M2R's turbo mode is rated at 1500 lumens and 10,880 cd. The Wowta...

Re: What ever happened to Elmax

Ima trademark the name "TyrannoUltraBoneKilla" and it'll be something like an alloy of tantalum and plutonium or whatever lol I'm really surprised a steel company hasn't tried to buy the rights to "adamantium" from Marvel yet. Terrain 365 has something close called Terravantium™.

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

Surefire Sidekick should be here this weekend. Curious to see how it stacks up against my Fenix PD25. Comparing a 300 Lumen light (Surefire) to a 550 Lumen light(PD25)? I can tell you how that is going to go. The Surefire EDCL1-T would have been a closer comparison, at 500 to 550 lumens. Lumens are...

Re: Please Help Me Buy a Flashlight!

I would recommend Elzetta. They are expensive, but they are extremely well made & simple to operate. The discharge rate is pretty flat & they are one of the only few companies that actually put out the lumens they advertise without stepping down. Another great company is Malkoff. Although I ...

Better steel & maybe use g10 to make the flimsy part sturdier.

2nd Edit: I just remembered that I have a razor blade stashed inside my cellphone behind the battery for emergency usage.
I also forgot the knife contained in the SwissCard Lite in my wallet.

This also reminds me of the lawsuit Surefire had against Foursevens where they bullied the younger, more inventive company out of business.

Re: Anyone fitted a Flytanium Brouwer scale or deep carry clip?

If you don't personally own a blasting cabinet, any autobody shop will have one & they probably wouldnt charge much to blast the two scales to match. That is, if you even care about matching. If you go that route, don't forget not to blast the important parts that need to keep their tolerances.
