I love my edge pro apex. I generally start at the 600 grit stone though if a knife is just "kinda dull". The only time I used lower grits is if the bevel has dings or chips in it. The edge pro is a great system just make sure you buy the REAL edge pro stones. I made the mistake of buying r...

Nice pick up! I love my UKPK and didn't think I would with it being a slip-joint. Its a great knife. I just wish I didn't get the combo edge.

To answer the original poster's question: as far as I know the Stretch and Delica were the only knives spyderco released with that particular blue FRN and the ZDP 189 steel. The stretch is super hard to find while the Delica is quite a bit more easy but will usually set you back 2 times the cost of ...

Hey everyone! Thanks for the suggestions! I honestly think my wife would kill me if I bought her another knife. I need something a bit more romantic. She already has most anything a woman could want (she's spoiled). Jewelry is always an option, but I was hoping for something a bit more outside of th...

5th anniversary gift ideas for my wife... any suggestions??

Hey fellas, My wife and I are going to be celebrating our 5th anniversary on September 6th. I've already booked a weekend getaway in a nice resort on the beach in Galveston texas (a short drive from Houston) but that is not enough. Anyone have any gift ideas? And yes, she already has a couple spyder...

Definitely some amazing photographs here! I don't envy the spyderco team having to decide on which photos to choose! I think everyone submitted a great image! Good luck to all!

The real deal is reasonably priced and has a **** of a lot better steel so why would anyone waste money on the fake? I would buy one for $20 just to see how close it was to the real one. It seems as though it would make a half way decent beater or tool box knife. And currently with PM2s in such sho...

I dont know much about the specifics about any steel really, but ZDP 189 is an AMAZING steel. One of the best I think. I like it better than s30v and S35vn in edge retention and is still relatively easy to sharpen. You will not be upset with the performance of the knife or the steel you chose. Welco...

Amazing collection Space! And welcome to the forums! I noticed you have a left hand military in there. Was that a mistake purchase or are you left handed? All your other knives are set up for right hand carry... that is what I was asking!

This is such a great thread. I have quite literally sold every other knife I own to buy more spyderco knives and the simple reason why is once I carried a spyderco knife, I couldn't bring myself to carry anything else. They are just a cut above the rest (pun intended). Spyderco is the best knife mak...

This picture represents several things for me. This Paramilitary 2 in S90V is for me, one of the best knives in the Spyderco lineup. It has been a grail knife for me for a long time. The generosity of forum members on the Spyderco forum has long been epic and the way this knife came to be mine is a...

I use Rand CLP. it is a non-toxic vegetable based nano lubricant that is biodegradable, safe for food prep and works amazing on guns and knives. It is just thick enough to do the job but not too think to cause a mess. I love it and it has replaced the use of Rem-oil for me.

nice salsa DJ! Haha, Thanks!! I was wondering when someone was going to comment on the red-headed step child in the bunch! That blue Salsa I picked up for a steal on the unmentionable auction site. I couldn't pass it up. It is in GREAT shape though, came in original box. I only wish it was PE inste...
