polishing endura clip?

i have an endura FRN with the black clip, is there any way to polish the clip so it would look like stainless steel? can i just use metal polish to strip the black coat off?

i thought that the blade on the mini manix was 4 mm and 3 mm on the m2.

orange large manix for me with a 4mm thick blade of s90v, saber grind, large diameter pivot, full steel liners, and ball bearing lock. that sure will scratch my itch.

that's not saying anything. maybe abuse for you is light use for me or vice versa. what were you doing with them when their tips broke off?

hickster, I'm in the Philippines. my old schrade 130t works fine but that rock salt is one attractive knife. most of the time I can carry anything up to a machete but since it's election time it is also officially crazy season here.

ideally i would want something that has the endura 4's saber ground blade with solid liners like the CG and a lockup like the original manix. but that would be a custom and would cost too much to be a beater knife. batoning a bamboo stem is way easier on the knife than batoning wood since bamboo is ...

My list of hard use tasks. 1. digging at the roots of a mango tree to look for root rot. 2. cutting off the part with rot. 3. trimming up to 1 inch diameter branches. 4. cutting up sacks of fertilizer. 5. preparing firewood from bamboo(some batoning required) 6. cutting and shaping bamboo sticks for...

ah yes the chinook and the GB both rock, but price wise the mannix 2 seems to be the winner. steel is just 154 cm but i think that will be sufficient. edge retention and hardness won't be a major requirement. it's the construction( lock strength and pivot strength) that will most likely be the first...

what I did with mine was to wedge the closed blade with paper to move it to the opposite side that it was crooked on. then i loosened the pivot and then tightened it right back to where the blade wouldn't budge. then i took out the paper wedge and loosened the pivot to the desired tightness. the bla...

The prices i paid for these knives are a somewhat substantial here in the philippines but i have no complaints. I'm just h...
