Re: Finch knives?
I do not have a Cimmaron but I can say that where I see Finch doing so well is with the details, all the little things they just get right. The knives have the feel of a much more expensive knife. All my Finches are 154cm and have been fine in the year that I have owned them. Here are some photos wi...

Re: Finch knives?
I recall member "M Sea" talking about that brand of knives a few months back. He may be able to provide you some feedback Doc. Yes, I have several and they are excellent. The actions are exceptionally smooth on my Holiday, 1929 and Tikuna. No complaints at all. Very impressed.i would be h...

Re: What is wrong with Spyderco customer service?
Have you tried reaching on social media? Just a thought not sure if that works or not with Spyderco but I needed to send a knife back to another manufacturer and had a few emails/calls not returned but reached out on social media and it got handled quickly.

Use my SE H-1 knives hard daily at work. By far the best SE edge I have ever tried. Absolutely love it.

Re: Blade Steels Proven Good For Serrated Edges
Have had some SOG serrated knives in AUS-8 that also did well but H1 does better for me.

Re: Blade Steels Proven Good For Serrated Edges
I'm convinced that spyderco serrations are good, but less convinced that H-1 is actually as amazing serrated as spyderco claims. I really want to try K390 or another steel with a good combo of toughness and wear resistance in a small serrated blade. A dragonfly in serrated K390 would be ideal IMO. ...

Re: Thank you to Spyderco
Spyderco has been hitting it out of the park lately. I remember just before the ZDP189 line launched your options were basically VG10, ATS55 or S30V. Now look at all the options we have between steels, scale materials & colors, and the variety of designs they currently offer. Can't speak for ot...

Re: Thank you to Spyderco
I agree, but as someone living outside US I am little unsure about the sprints (availability) and out-of-shop-warranty service (there is none effectively). But even with those particularities I am very positive about Spyderco (otherwise I would not be hanging around here). Trust me, as someone livi...

Re: Short(age) stuff
Oh yeah, it’s just about everything here. I know theirs a chlorine shortage, and don’t even get me started on the lumber thing going on right now. My father in law saw this coming because he’s a old logger, and set up his own mill and has been cutting all of his own lumber for projects. Beef has go...

Thank you to Spyderco
The recent thread on FRN take-over and a few others on blade steels got me to to thinking how many options Spyderco offers us as consumers/collectors/fans. The many choices from Spyderco are far and away above any other manufacturers and it’s not even close. From a cost standpoint, this cannot be ea...

Love the FRN scales, more-so than the G-10 which are also great.
