Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

I've said it already, but Spyderco could produce nothing but vintage models from now on and they'd definitely have a customer in me!

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Good point Jim. I agree. I really do want one of these. However, if all of them disappear before I can snag one, I’m not going to worry or stress over it. If I get one, it’ll be great! If not, oh well. It’ll simply be another great knife I don’t own, of which there are many. And I will NOT buy from ...

That's a concern of mine too. These sprint runs literally evaporate an hour after the announcement.

Rust-proof and rust-prone. Great combo for the woods/camping.
Hell yeah! I have a few Moras, they really are great knives.

Re: health effects of sharpening

I agree. I really don't see how a hobbyist could generate that many particles for it to be an issue. I'm from Steel country. As a boy and a young man, I was near enough to the Mills and Coke plants to have ingested more particles in one hour than thousands of dedicated enthusiasts generate in a life...

Re: Spyderco "Hyker"

I like it. I picked up the Dragonfly as a hiking knife, as your needs and mine are very similar. I found that I like the Delica better for my hiking...nothing big, just my preference. I like that bright green color. Nothing is worse than dropping a knife in the brush and not being able to find it be...

Just cut open a breakfast bar with my PM2. I'm on a year long exclusive carry of my PM2, which started last Wednesday. Should be fun!

Re: My very first Endura was stolen at gunpoint

That's sound advice. Once he gets an.idea that he has something of value, the money will be hard to resist. In my experience, 99 percent of items taken in an incident like this wind up in a pawn shop or traded for drugs.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up

Oh, I have no issues with the PE. A fair amount of my Spyderco collection is just that. I want a SE Ayoob for its cutting ability and for the looks of serrarions on that blade.
