Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's

This was one of the wildest knives I had ever seen when it came out. I have not had it out in years.

So I am starting a day early!

Re: Different Tools, Different Steels, Different Angles Different Grits to get your Spydies Blade Factory Fresh

My 3 main tools are a Ken Onion Worksharp, a Sharpmaker. and a Strop. I have some other tools in a box, like bench stones and a full Edge Pro system and miscellaneous stones. I don't really use the Edge Pro anymore but keep it anyway. The Workshop comes with a v angle attachment but I never liked th...

I would prefer a stainless steel. I am pretty much done buying any steel that rusts or Patinas on a folder.

I am not sure if this ones been discontinued, but I have owned it for what seems like forever. Carried a bit, but not used a lot. I always liked the look of it.

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's

Just a thought on Throwback Thursday the knife does not have to be that old maybe just a knife you forgot about that has been laying around or bought and never really carried. For me it has been rediscovering old knives I stopped carrying or steel I have not used for years.

Re: Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's

I have not carried and used my Lil Temp for years. I forgot how much I love this knife. The aesthetics of this knife are stunning. The green grip with relief cut, and the thick leaf blade make for a very good looking robust folder. I forgot how great the grip is. It just fits your hand perfect. I cu...

Loving that ffg se!
Yes the old Lil Temp was a beauty to behold. Plus the machined G10 in green. So much win in these older blades!

Just acquired this past Saturday. 1st Generation Endura! Nearly as old as me!! Will pair nicely with a smaller PE knife of choice.

Throwback Thursday for Spyderco's

So I bought this Lil Temp around 2005. I carried it for a couple of years. I was on the Spyderco Forum back then and posted about this knife many times. Anyway, I gave it to my brother. He used it for a couple of years. It was presumed lost. It was found in a drawer when he moved and returned to me....

I have sold dozens of grails. Miss none of them.

Life moves on, your tastes or needs change. I am a hunter, not a hoarder.

On to the next grail.

Re: Spyderco Lil. Temperance Leave CPM 440V

I am giant fan of the Lil Temp. I still have the original one I bought back in the early 2000's. It was one of the knives that changed how I thought about knives.

I will get my SE edge one out today and carry it.

Re: LC200N Native 5 Salt. Still no knife. Come on! When???

LC200N Native 5. Still no knife. Come on! When? How long will these old excuses be expected to stand? It seems like it will be a year or so here soon with the pre-order. Will it even be here by Christmas?! I'm finally becoming inpatient, or at least upset. It's taken a while, but this is the first ...

Re: Why Didn't You Buy A Manix 2 Back Lock?

When I was younger the bigger the folder the better. I loved big folders. Now the Military is about as big as I will carry and only because it is light. I have been carrying either a Para Mil or a Yojimbo lately. I want a good medium size knife that cuts really well.

Re: China and tariffs

Makes no difference to me.

If I really want a knife I always find a way to afford it. If the product is good another 50 bucks on a 200 dollar knife won't stop me.

Plus, I like to see jobs created here.
