looks like i might be out of the lanyard game for a little while. went to the doctor today to see about my recent high fever, neck stiffness, and dizziness, and to also see if he could explain why my wrist is hurting me so much lately. he told me it might be carpal tunnel, and that he wants me to k...

I collect :spyder: , i will buy any spydie i dont have in my collection, i have probably close to 200 or so. I only use about 20-30 of those. Often i will get a new model and use it for a few days, but i always seem to return to my normal users.

The only time i realy need to use a big knife is when i am hunting. I am a bowhunter and often try set myself up in ambush positions often from tree stands. In Africa our bush in general is made up of lots of different types of trees and bushes, we dont really have a lot of tall trees, there is more...

I prefer knives with steel/ Ti liners. I own many FRN knives and have not really had any problems. I think i am just being a knife snob. The stretch is one of my favourite :spyder: i just dont carry it anymore. I cant stand the krayton inlay. IMO its one of the best all round :spyder: ever made, I t...

I would expect that work hardening would occur in the ZDP as well. I am sure someone with some metalurgical knowledge would know better. IIRC sharpening the edge the first few times also gets rid of any steel which has been "damaged" during sharpening, grinding and Heat treating during man...

I would imagine your guess is right. I cant see :spyder: making more molds just for a model name.

I dont know much about molds but interchangable pieces make sense.

i'd really like to carry a secondary small blade knife like the lava on me everyday. i think the handle will fit my small hands well, but i simply do not like SS or metal handles and i refuse to buy one. i'd love to see it in g-10. possible? I have been carrying my lava a bit lately and also find t...

Thanks for the feedback. I honestly think that this is the first bad thing about ZDP i have heard of, exept the price of course. It really seems to be a wonder steel. I see some other knife companys offering it now as well as expected upcoming :spyder: 's. Hopefully it catches on in a big way i real...
