Any cyclists lurking in this forum??

My other passion is cycling.

I have a road bike and get out on the weekends for nice long rides usually with a friend or two. I would do it during the week but our business takes priority Monday to Friday.

....So do I have any kindred spirits here ?

Thanks Frank..... but I bow to your collection. In comparison mine are opportunistic hoards of relatively available pieces. Your niceties are much more drool-worthy. We should meet up some time for a mutual fondling session ;) Cheers Dan Hi Dan YEP, I thinks it's about time we got together and comp...

Whynot

Your idea to use the mirror in your photos was inspired.

I think you have some of the best photos on the forum. Please keep it up.

OK.......That does it. Probably my first controversial post which might put me offside with some. Please be assured I do not wish to offend anyone. BUT....... The **** cats have pretty much taken over that other forum. I propose a rule that no cat pictures be allowed in this forum. THIS SHOULD BE DE...

Two fang marks... how'd you manage that?
Thanks Will.

As for the bite, everybody guessed right. My finger was too far up the blade and the serations let me know how sharp they are.

How bad was the cut?
Hi Will

How you been?

Wasn't a cut, it looks like two fang marks like a snake bite. I bled like a real trooper there for a minute or two :o

Giant, the Ti version was made in golden and has a S30V blade, the SS in Seki and has VG10. Joe Thanks for the heads up Joe. That might sway me to buy the Ti for my collection of safe queens. I have to say I like VG 10. It keeps a sharp edge for a reasonable length of time and is easy for a mug lik...

With only 10 grams difference it seems hard to justify the extra cost of Ti. I have a couple of other knives with Ti scales and I don't really like the fact that it marks s...

I love these "favourite" threads because I get to rave on about the Viele (both C42 and C97 ). The look sexy  and work very well in most applications. I carry the C97 every day because it is not overly big and won't frighten all the sheeple. It is a great little knife to pull out whe...

Got my new ATR today

I got my ATR today. Spyder edge SS. What a great knife. It fits in my hand like a glove and feels just right. I EDC my Viele 2 exclusively but now may consider adding the ATR to the rotation. It's a bigger knife and the local sheeple might get a little twitchy if used in the wrong circumstances, but...

I have looked everywhere and just cannot find a picture of the ATR with combo edge. Can anyone help by posting one here. Thank you in advance. PS. I have seen the serrated blade which has the first 20% or so as plain. Is this the combo version??. All along I have assumed that this is the fully seart...
