Re: Can we please get some kind of update/estimate on the Heinnie UKPK?
Is it going to be the same one as before? Red G10 with S30V? https://heinnie.com/spyderco-heinnie-haynesr-uk-penknife-g10 Just wondered. I had one and regret that I sold it. ;) Yep, that’s it. No change as far as I know. I got in on the pre-order last spring, so it’s Bern going for a while. Very ex...

Hey folks,
Would someone mind posting a pic of a SPY27 Native 5 Lightweight next to an S110V Native 5 Lightweight? Looking to see the difference in the blues.
Thanks much! :)

Hey David,
Great write up and thread. Love seeing well used knives. That's hilarious about all of the screws being loose. LOL.
Nice to "see" ya. I'm still around, just lurk more as life has been busy. :)

I bet it comes off with Flitz (metal polish). There are folks here who have Flitz'd coated blades with great luck. I have never done it.

Spyderco Brouwer - Wasn't sure if I'd like it or not.
Turns out, I love the knife. It has taken its place in my pocket for the last 2 weeks. I bought it recently on a whim and ended up really liking it. I'm not usually a guy who carries frame locks. Just not my favorite lock. This knife is fantastic. It's a little smaller than the Native 5 (which I lik...

Re: Cru-wear Delica
I received mine today. It's a really nice knife. I mean, the Delica is a great knife period. With tool steel this thing is even more fantastic. It's bitey as heck like M4 is. This is my first knife in Cruwear. The gray looks darker than the standard gray VG-10 Delica. I don't know if this is the fir...

Re: Largest Spyderco you're comfortable with?
When I'm not working I regularly carry a Military in M4. Dope knife for sure.
I don't think I would go larger than a Military though.

All Black CPM-M4 Military anyone?
Been wanting one for a long time so I made one. What a great knife. They are both CQI models and man are the small improvements awesome. Looks like they also radiused the outer edges of the handles a tiny bit for comfort. I love the floating stop pins in these models. https://i.imgur.com/PdtbESn.jpg

Re: Would you buy a Golden, CO USA EARTH Made Tenacious Lightweight?
NC, oh yes.. my Milli is just a bit TOO long when closed, but the Chief has just Endura-length, which is great. And, yes, a backlock... way better for me than a linerlock.. What do you guys not like about a linerlock? Do you think you are going to disengage the lock accidentally during use? I reall...

Re: Would you buy a Golden, CO USA EARTH Made Tenacious Lightweight?
Me too, but just in PE... There are only two knives that I like that have the liner lock: Military and Cat. I do not like the lock, I just put up with it. The Cat is small enough it is not going to get used hard. The Military is, the Military, and everyone needs one. Now I will be buying the P4 and...

Re: Would you buy a Golden, CO USA EARTH Made Tenacious Lightweight?
No. Unnecessary. It would then defeat the purpose of being made in China and the price would get close to that of a Para 3 lightweight. Plus I find it ugly (the Tenacious).
