Show your use!

I got a little impatient and started this thread anyway. I asked a question about it in the sticky if I could (an hour ago). I like to see pics of how you use your Spydies and I didn't like to post or keep it model-specific - personally I thing that's a little boring. So like 'Show your EDC' and 'Sh...

I want to post a pic of how I used and enjoyed using my Spyderco yesterday. Then I saw the numerous threads of Spydie galleries and got confused. I was wondering if there is one general gallery thread of Spyderco pics or thread of pics of how you used them? I don't like posting it in a specific mode...

A little fixed blade could be an option too of course (if that perhaps makes import easier).
A Böker Vox Gnome or Pry-Mini for example.

I was seriously considering the Cat and the Ambitious before I decided I prefer the Manbug. The Chicago doesn't have a locking blade so that was a deal breaker for me, and I'm left handed, so I'm a little uneasy with the liner lockers, I've heard they bite ;) The Chicago DOES have a liner-lock!! I ...

Hey Luke, My first ever knife was a Military (legal or not) and still isn't beaten with anything what I bought after that. But according to you, you want something really small. I suggest to at least buy a frame- or liner-lock. Simple because it is reliable, easy to clean and fun playing with it. A ...

The V just means it is a variant to the standard Military. The number proceeding it is just the collectors club number. I know. Actually, that is exactly what I stated and linked towards (if my non-native English is correct.) See also the link behind 'this explanation of Spydie numbers' in my previ...

My M390 Military has arrived! :) Since the Millie was already the GOAT and favorite EDC knife for me (I already had a plain old standard Military and an Orange one, with a black pocket clip) I'm pretty sure this will not leave my pocket for a long, long time :) http://i1058.photobucket.com/albums/t4...

Goat

I have a few millies; and every time I pick one up, I'm impressed by the size-weight ratio, and when I cut stuff with it, it never seem to want to stop. You want to cut something; and you want to cut it at once. The flat ground knife; rock-solid handle, it's a great kitchen knife, it's a great tact...

Only one nylon washer in my C65CFP Lum Chinese CF?

Today I got my Spyderco Bob Lum Chinese Folder Glass Fiber C65CFP in the mail. It is gorgeous! But it seems to have only one nylon washer, on the pocket clip-side, which gives more space between the blade and the handle on one side than the other. Is this correct? None of the reviews I found mention...

+1 I really do not see a lot of benefits of H1 on the kitchen knives, especially for professionals. On my kitchen I have Kanetsune and Spyderco with VG10, Spyderco paring knife, K04 and K05 with MBS26, inexpensive KAI Santoku with unknown to me steel. None of them ever had rust or stain problem. Al...

Professional chef's tend to know their knives and take care of them so I wouldn't be so hung up on rust proof steel. I'm not worried about rusting of the blade: whatever steel it is, it is easy to dry; I'm worried about the folding mechanism, liners and screws, 'the inside' of the folder. Or "...

They don't need to. Further, if they did, it probably wouldn't be so hard to find/buy them.

Exactly. I'm suprised there are not more 100% rust proof folders (up to the liners and screws). I carry a Military as EDC and I would love it in H1 - just like a lot of people who only use their EDC's in a non-survival way would like. About a kitchen folder: I'm not worried about rusting of the blad...

Rust Proof Folding Kitchen Knife / H1 Kitchen Folder?

I want to give my professional cooking brother a good folding kitchen knife, preferably 100% rust proof. But what do you know? Almost impossible to find. Leave alone rust proof. Does anybody here know a kitchen folder at all?? And could Spyderco perhaps consider designing such a knife? The only exam...
