I placed my order for my Poliwog today
I'm stoked it will be my second Spyderco. My first is my SE Tasman Salt (yellow handle)
I'm new to Spyderco and the forums but so far its been an awesome experience! Can't wait for my collection to grow!!!

good to hear that is the best price I have found, most sites advertise them but are out of stock since the SS Poliwog is discontinued. Figured I would get my hands on one before they get to hard to find!

There is one on Ebay right now Blue PE for $102.50... its got five days on it i would buy it but its slightly used still looks good but i'm waiting for a NIB Blue one.... actually i'm waiting for the orange one to come out haha

There was a guy on youtube that did a knife review, and it was of the poliwog actually (i think? lol) that claimed he purchased it from spyderco directly and paid the full 160 or w/e for it

that way you have one of each to put to use
and one of each to set back and admire

Eases the pain on the wallet a little.... now just to find one.
Now im thinkin about a poliwog....

Orange is my favorite color so of course I am bias but also, for me it makes it stick out, and is unique. Im not so concerned about people knowing I have a knife. Most of the people where I live carry them anyways, so instead of "oh he is carrying a knife!" its more of a "wow thats an awesome blade ...
