Yes they are a ditrty habit! Since joining this forum I have added 3 new spydies..a Tuff, Manix2 XL, and a tenacious.

as for that non-spydie you posted...I must say I like it a lot, very classy and looks like a very well done design.

Well I have a Manix XL plain edge on the way, as well as a tenacious, should be here in a couple days.

For the christmas list I am thinking Rock and Vallotton.

I have had my Tuff on tip up and the blade had opened just slightly, a fraction of an inch, and when I slid my hand into the pocket to pull it out it cut down my thumb about an inch long, not very deep but still some good bleeding. Going toswitch up the clip and play around with it

I EDC my kopa very regularly. Great size and fit and I at first was hesitant to carry it because of how indiscreet it is in the front left pocket (which is where I carry mine as well), but it is a very good choice. I wish I could afford some of the fancier ones.

I definitely just infected a friend recently. He got a ladybug and loved it but said he could never see himself carrying around a 3" plus blade. That was a month or two ago. He now has a centofante3 and is planning on a new one.

this sounds like an excuse to go out and purchase as many knives (of quality of course) as you can to find the perfect one! there are plenty of fish in the sea my friend (thank god for that h-1 so you won't rust while you look!)

Mariner clip+screws

Hey guys, So I went to remove the clip on my mariner because it is bent off the body about .5" and came to find one screw stripped to the point where it could not be removed. Any suggestions or ideas about where I could get a new clip or even just a few new screws? I can most likely bend the cl...

I am right handed and carry my knife in my left front pocket. since getting my Tuff the other day I am debating swapping to the right because the Tuff is definitely the hardest to open that I have. Other than that I do everything righty.

First of all "chuckd" welcome to Spyderville :) You've really caught my attention as I see you also have a stainless Mariner model. That was the very first Spyder I ever bought back in 1995. Personally I'm a huge fan of Spyderco's great Hawkbills i.e. Harpy, Spyderhawk, TASMAN ect. I'm al...

Here are the spydercos I have as of yet with the Tuff Rock and hopefully a Valloton on the way. Anybody have the best way of bending a pocket clip flat again? It hooked on a seatbelt when getting out of the car once and is about .5 inches elevated off the frame. http://i1105.photobucket.com/albums/h...

Thanks!
And I believe it was a ladybug II. Still have it too. Then I switched to the rescue 79 and carried that for a few years then the collection took off and I rotate EDC now.

cant wait for the Tuff and Rock

first post not first spyderco

Hey guys, Finally decided to join a forum to discuss my growing addiction to knives with a significant emphasis on spydercos. I got my first spyderco in middle school (im 22 now) and have been accumulating them since and can not get enough. I ordered a Tuff not even an hour ago and will be getting a...
