Gents, Self-explanatory title: what's in your pockets every day, and what does your EDC rotation look like? Re: Why don't you have more spyderco fixed blades?
Out of 36 people that responded to Vivi's earlier poll, 33 people responded that their spyderco collections consist of fewer than 25% fixed blades. And of those people (myself included), most said they have numerous fixed blades, just not many spydercos. So the question that follows is: Why do you ...

Zero.
I get my fixed blade fix other places. I find the true value of Spyderco in their folding knives.

Re: Upcoming Shaman Exclusives??
The only thing about the shaman that isn’t present elsewhere in Spyderco's lineup are the thick contoured g10 scales. It’s a bit of a mystery to me why it’s so much more expensive than a PM2 for example. But it is a cool looking knife, and I’d love to have the crucarta version!!! About twice more s...

Re: Which Steel Has the Best Edge Retention?
Thanks guys, yea Larrin is legit, smartest guy I know. He is like the brain bug from starship troopers. I love talking about Metallurgy with him. One of the problems is that we could go on for hours and hours on a single section, so we try to keep it flowing. Look forward to having more discussions...

Re: Knife myths you should not accept as true a priori (meant to be a POSITIVE thread!)
https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/duty_calls.png https://xkcd.com/386/ It's difficult to unlock a compression lock wearing gloves. Some variation of this has been posted a number of times. So I went through my house and put on every pair of gloves I own and tried unlocking a PM2. These included light ca...

Re: Is this a fake please help
Knock-offs don't use real G10 (or they didn't use to, unsure about nowadays). Counterfeits are definitely using real G10 these days. It's part of the reason it's such a shame to see them take the counterfeit path. They could have some decent folders if they used original designs. You know, there is...

Re: Is this a fake please help
Just bought this little pm2 on knife swap on reddit from a reputable seller and I'm just over cautious. Reddit says it's real. What say you? http://imgur.com/a/kpE4Gmw Looks legit to me. Scratch and sniff on the side of the scales. Real G10 will smell slightly like the inside of a brand new compute...
