Tinkerer,
I own a native lightweight(serrated), and it sharpens up with ease.
I have seen it around a few places in blue but not many.

Thanks for responding. If I had to narrow it further it would be in the way of cutting small branches. I also am not talking about the so called "Highly specialized task". To put it into better terms: If you Knew you were going to be faced with a wide varriety of tough cutting task, wich s...

I am so glad there is somebody else here that wont sugar cote everything to make it "Pleasing to the masses". My nickname for the profound idiots who do this sugar dusting is MOLIFYING MIKES. This forum is one of the few place I can escape the sugar dusters.

Jeff,
If it were FRN I would not think much of it, but considering that it has SS handles you probally should have it looked at. I dont have experience with the police so I am not positive.

Good luck, fisherman

Sal, Please, oh please, can it be a larger knife with a substantial compacity to be practical! I really wish it colud be olive colored g10 or CF handles, (since this is a forum model). I think a serrated edge wolud be the best, that razor spyderedge is one of my favorite things about spyderco(PE wou...

chinook steel change?

I was wondering if there might be future plans of changing the chinooks steel?

By the way, does anybody have specs. on the new fixed blades? A spyderco clearing tool or, something like a kurkri would be neat, any protos?

In addition to steel, grind, looks, feel, handal material, ease of opening, cutting ability and blade style, I like a knife thats seems finished and/or new. To me a knife either needs to have a perfected old design, or a complete new one. I find this to be the case with almost any spyderco. Way to g...

KenN, Thanks for the for the reply. I sure wish spyderco would make some new knives with 4 inch blades. A 10 inch FB survival knife would be nice to throw in too. I dont carry a FB for EDC, but it would be neat if Spyderco could do something along those lines. I too, wish some of the MBC blabes coul...

Hey Samo, Those looked like some nice fish. What kind of carp was that? Do you use artificial or cut/live bait over there to catch the larger species? Over here in the states I mainly fish for large cats: FLATHEAD, channel, and blue. The flathead beeing my fave, because of its unusual character. The...

Hi Whats up with all these microscopic knives: meerkat, salsa ect. ? I understand you have to make some knives that will appeal to the everyday person, who is shocked at the sight of a 2 inch folder, but I also understand that me and a lot of other people dont care about offending rabid nuts. You kn...
