Re: Pacific Salt in LC200N?
Interesting, but that would add weight to an otherwise light knife. Some like heavier, but I love lightweights to be just that. Maybe I’m crazy. I’m curious how a Pacific and Caribbean fare side by side weight wise. The Pacific Salt is 3 oz. and the Caribbean leaf is 4.2oz. The Caribbean honestly f...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?
Here's a family portrait of of my trailing point knives. I am a really big fan of the form. Also, I am amazed at how thin the Bow River is behind the edge. I measure it at about 0.018 to 0.020 bte. I ran it over the brown SM stones and it has a sticky sharp edge now. https://i.imgur.com/PsVQmI2.jpg...

Re: Embassy in stock?!?
Must be because I'm used to this slender knife. I absolutely love it. Made in the US, CPM154, aluminum handle scales for under $90. I must be playing favorites haha W99CNjyh.jpg Have you ever had any problems with this knife not locking up properly? I bought a launch 5 and it failed to lock up anyw...

Re: Just the brown SM flats
I've never used the diamond rods, but I've reprofiled 3 knives now with the CBN rods. 3 different steels (8cr13mov, S30V, M390) It takes some time, definitely not a sit down and do it in one session, but it can definitely be done with a bit of patience and free time. Using pretty light pressure, my...

Re: CS Orange Zome Hap40 Endura
I may be in the minority, but I really like the Zome FRN. That's completely subjective, though. @steelcity16, you mentioned earth tones. Would earth tone Zome patterns interest you, or is Zome itself unappealing? And I'm also on board for plain white FRN and TiCN blade and hardware! This thread nee...
