Great presents all. I'm afraid my present will be on hold for awhile. We spent everything on the kids. All I got was a new avatar.

Hey thanks for weighing in. I wasn't sure if it was to promo another knife or just an honest concern. It wasn't like I could understand him. :)

Military Failure

I just found this while looking around for Spyderco video clips. I'm wondering why the lock failed so easily. Do you think it was abused or perhaps a factory defect? It seemed to have an awful lot of play before he started whacking. Just curious. Perhaps it was a plug for CRKT. I think the knife he ...

Also... more likely to be schizophrenic, more susceptible to drug and alcohol addiction, and a good 2500 of us will die this year thanks to devices designed for right handed people. So, you guys might want to watch out for that.

heh, sounds remarkably familiar... you know, I used to work in a gas station, I once caught a kid grabbing a twix and going for the door with it. I flipped the maglocks and had him sit and wait for his mom to finish pumping gas. I'll be damnded if the little punk (couldn't have been more than 9) di...

I was walking down the street about 10 years ago and found one laying on the ground. What a great little knife it was. But just like a stray dog that you can't keep in the yard it ran away. To this day I don't know how I lost it. I think it was a delica but it had an integrated FRN clip.

Neck and neck

...and the winner is?

Just wondering if any of you have a knife that you value as much as a Spyderco?

I know. Blasphemy.

Taking in consideration quality, ergonomics and any other laundry list of items you deem important, who holds a candle to the :spyder: ?

Thanks EarthDog. The one you posted the link to has a Partially serrated edge. I am finding those a lot. I may just get one for the difference in price. **** I can grab one of those on Ebay for 50-60. That plain edge sure is pretty though. I just shelled out for a subcom with some custom work by Pot...

Well thanks for the welcome and the grammar lesson :D So, you think 100 bucks isn't too much for the knife. Guess I was figuring they would run a few bucks higher than the FRN. ****, a G-10 would be sweet. I have been collecting knives for a little bit. Mostly slip joints. I just bought my first Spy...

The Allusive Native

Hello all. New here. I have been reading posts for awhile but wanted to jump in with an inquiry. After much thought, I have decided I want a Spyderco that I can't find. I have only seen one but they want 100.00 for it. Does anyone know where one one find this beauty? :D http://img.villagephotos.com/...
