I use fishing reel oil. It works great, is inexpensive, and has a good applicator. I have also used synthetic motor oil on my guns and knives effectively as well.

Got the text alert, immediately hit the link, and they were already OOS. Stupid.

The demand is not at PM2 or Para 3 level. I got one easy. I was tempted to wait and see if Cutlery Shoppe was going to do an XHP PM 2 wharncliffe instead, but figured I would go with this just in case they don't. Now to order some RIT dye.

Any word on pricing? I looked on the DLT site but couldn't find it. When I got my M390 Manix (I forget from which retailer) it was only like $20 more than a base S30v model. I don't mind S30V at all, but with such little price difference it just made sense to get the fancy dealer exclusive in case ...

I really wish that they offered a DLC and black hardware version, but I am in anyway.

Just ordered one from Spyderco. Excited to check it out. I like the Tenacious, but not the 8cr. It is pretty much the size of the Para 3 closed, but has more cutting edge than the PM2, which makes it a great design. And I love that color of blue on the handles. This should be a winner.

I used my titanium m390 PM2 to open the package with my m4 tanto PM2.

I got mine yesterday. The scales will definitely get dyed. Not a fan of the jade. The centering and action are both great, but it does have a large flat spot on the front edge. Not surprising though. It took 30 minutes of refreshing, but I finally got one.

I really hope they ordered alot of these so I can snag one. I have passed on all the s30v drops hoping for a better steel.

I took the tube out of my Chef because it rattled. It has screws on both sides so structural integrity is not an issue. I kind of wish the PM2 was like that too. I don't use lanyards and I agree it looks cleaner to me too.

I just put titanium scales on my m390 PM2 and s45vn Para 3 and I love the feel and they look awesome. They should do a production run like this for sure. My wish list would be to rerelease the Slysz Bowie and Paysan.

I really want a rerelease for the Bowie. Not a sprint because I actually want a chance to get one without flippers buying them all and selling them for $600 on Ebay. I also would not be in for a major change. CQI would be ok for small things like a lock bar insert. But PLEASE bring it back.

My vote as well.

Blue (BB M390 blue especially) is my favorite knife color and I like orange and even just ordered an orange Spyderco. Neither blurple or burnt orange really appeal to me, but I definitely prefer blurple between the two.
