I just scored a new Captain C111GP on the bay. Been looking for a while. While I know it isn't everyone's favorite I really like it. Too bad I did not jump on it when it was in production.

Has there been any word on a black model coming out?

Now that we have the released version how is it for left handed use? There must be some lefties in the Coast Guard.

I too have just received a new Worker. Mine however appears perfect on ever way. I really like this knife. If the abnormalities of your knife truly bother you, return it for a replacement. I can't imagine you would have trouble with a replacement. It happens but is correctable.

The already mentioned larger lanyard hole would be a plus and, as a lefty, four way clip. Guess the four way would mean liners too. But I have to say it is a great knife right now.

I actually have a left handed SS Police and Military (one of my favorites). I'm receiving the Worker sprint tomorrow and got this bug to get an original left handed version but not for $700+. Way too steep for me. Wonder how many were made? Deacon?

Was there ever an original left handed C01 worker? I thought I saw something about it but it does not appear in the wiki. If so what is the model number? Any idea how many were made?

Does the elk come in a left handed version?

Mine was a stainless left handed Police but it was my second, an original Native, that gave me the bug, or is it a spyder?!
Still have both.

Hi DJD and welcome. Since I do not treat my Spydies as the holy grail but actually use them in a haphazard rotation they live on my desk to play with or in a slim desk draw. Of course that does not included the ones in present rotation.
