Will the mod-ers pick up on the SS Balance like they did the SS Cricket?

Should be interesting to see what they can come up with!

One thing for sure, Ed Schempp knives are always worth waiting for!!! :)

Urban Wharncliffe orange - the perfect size for a small EDC... love it!

Would be super cool if they made the same exact knife with a lock.

none of them are happy until they get a taste of blood... then they seem to settle down.

My Spyderhawk was the most cranky til it bit me while i was closing it one handed... now i
use 2 hands every time :) Now he's settled down and is content with rope and stuff like that :)

I know this breaks one of Creepo's "rules" because the Manix 2 FRN hasn't come out yet, but it could possibly show up before June... if so, the CLEAR model would be sweet. (Excellent post Creepo - should be stickied for Forum Knife discussion) After all, this is the year of the Manix 2. ht...

I have a Zulu on the way - can't wait to try it out. I'm a big fan of Jens' work. There's no reason for you to apologise for your observations - that's why Spyderco makes a bunch of different models. I'm sure you could sell your Zulu, bit of a pain sure, but it's an option. My made in Taiwan CF Sage...

Sitting here looking at the knife, it is darker than any of the pics posted on this thread. I do in fact agree with racer about the closeups being the closest. I can say that holding it next to my blue Delica 4, the Sage is slightly darker. Hope that helps. Exact color rendition on computer monitor...

If price is the only thing holding you back from purchasing a Poliwog...

round up all the loose change in your house and make your own "$20 dollar off" coupon!

It's such a great little knife, with the coolest lock going.

(i'm taking my own advice for my Balance purchase)
