It's good to hear from you Arend, I too have stopped using the spyderco clip and go "naked" in the pocket.

Hello Armithius, and welcome to the forum! I believe that a serrated Delica would make an all-around better EDC than the Tasman. Don't get me wrong, a hawkbill excels at many tasks, but if I had to choose just one to throw in my pocket, it would be the Delica every time. VG-10 has great corrosion re...

I open the knife and let soak in dishwater for a while. Then use an old toothbrush to wash handles and blade, small stiff make-up brush or q tip to clean inside. Rinse inside and out then finish with "air in a can" to blow out dry, really handy stuff.

Thanks for using natural light. I have the pink, and if you shot this with your cameras color balance set to daylight, then that gives us an almost perfect idea of the color of the new purple knife. I want one. They look good together. I'm too lazy to set up a light-box, so I always use natural lig...

I think that having a FFG option is a great move for the FRN Delica.

FRN FFG Delica > FRN Caly Jr., IMHO

G10 FFG Delica > FRN Caly 3, IMHO
Anyone else agree with me? :D

I hope it does well for Spyderco and continues to be an option for those of us who realize the power of a thin FFG blade.

I just use dish soap and hot water soak after cutting raw meats. You could always dip the blade in boiling water aftewards, too.

Breeden rescue here! If it makes it into production, I hope the price point will make it a "poor man's" rocklobster.

This knife will have a VG-10 blade and it will be made in Japan. The G10 for the handle btw, will be shipped to Japan so the knife can be assembled there. Incidentally, when the reverse happens –when parts are shipped to Golden for assembly- Spyderco generally won’t mark the knife as ‘made in USA’....

which knife flater? I tend to keep my knife in my back pocket both appear to be the same thickness, but the delica seems (to me) to stay closed a little better than the Caly, which i would consider more ideal for carrying in your back pocket. i hardly ever carry my caly 3, but the delica sees all s...

Go for the T-mag! :p

I badly bent the clips on my delicas, so they ride in pocket. The delica stays closed very well, I've never had it open on me before.

You could probably go with any spyderco lock-back, they stay closed the best.
