Re: Bring back the Junior!

Yea, the Ouroboros does look similar and may be a good alternative. Although, the Ouroboros looks quite a bit smaller than the Junior. I tried bidding on a decent price Junior the other on eBay and lost. I'll keep checking. Thanks! The one from Pennsylvania? http://www.ebay.com/itm/321997321628 See...

Re: ebay question

Yes! There's a clown on eBay now selling new orange and black PM2s for $40. He clearly lists the OEM as China though the blade is marked USA. I'd avoid him like the plague. And the funniest part is that marking on the blade though, "S30V". Hmmmmm, wearing orange scales with black coating ...

Re: Am I missing out on a Delica?

Here's a few options if you want both FFG and full serration edge on the same Spyderco folding knife: Manbug Lightweight MBKS http://www.bladehq.com/item--Spyderco-ManBug-Lightweight-Black--11540 Police 3 C07GS3 http://www.bladehq.com/item--Spyderco-Police-G10--3655 (Didn't see that on the 2016 cata...

Re: Am I missing out on a Delica?

As for the reason that the FFG models aren't available in full Spyderedge, I think that there just may not be a huge advantage to it. Due to the way serrations are designed to cut, I don't think that having them on the FFG blade would offer any distinct advantage over the saber grind in full Spyder...

Re: Bring back the Junior!

Welcome to the forum Rybu, there are a couple listed on the bay right now or at least there were. True, there's one out there right now ending in 9 hrs and another buy it now with $250. Still possible to get a better deal if you have that patience though. According to my observation, they just spaw...

Re: If you could combine any two models into one knife...

Rock Lobster blade with a Junior style handle, of course with compression lock and wire clip! Whoa man, that sounds amazing. Now you have me wondering just how much material I can grind off my RL and get the handle close to that shape. I doubt it would work with a liner lock though. I'd just like t...

Re: Spydermade

Ganzo should be prosecuted. I am not sure how suing a Chinese company works. They've been using Spyderco, Benchmade, Ontario and Esee designs for a while. As to my studies, there are SOG, Gerber, and LionSteel's as well. But truly I believe Benchmade has suffered the most, not only for the lock the...

Re: Spyderco Ouroboros

Thank Paul for bringing this brand new design to us Spyderco enthusiasts. Actually there are a lot of interesting characteristics worth mention on this model. 50/50 finger choil. I've always been a fan of it since I met it on Para2, which is my first Spyderco. It adds so much comfort and control to ...

Re: Yo2 blurple S110V?

Kinda necroing a thread but I didn't want to start a new one. Any word on whether this will happen or not? I really want a blurple Yo2! Unfortunately I think that won't happen in a foreseeable future. Notice the shared characteristics of the current scheduled models with an indigo S110V version: Th...

Re: Is this a real custom PM2? Need info fast

I looked up at the listing again, and noticed this interesting diction in its title, "Military-Paramilitary Style". From my knowledge to those fake makers and retailers, "Blah-blah-blah Style" automatically equals to "Copy of Blah-blah-blah". Just don't buy this, or any...

Re: Is this a real custom PM2? Need info fast

Hummm, this is a tricky one. "Customized scale", that successfully evades itself from being suspected from the overly sanded corner of the G10 scale. And the lock bar seems to be correctly cut the shape it is supposed to be as well. But the curve of the blade, and position of the :spyder: ...

Re: Did I buy a fake Civilian?

Undoubtedly a fake. Aside from all the other points mentioned (etched markings, scale color, etc.), Civilians should usually come in pouches instead of boxes as shown by this set of pictures. Of course if you happen to have a picture of that label we can even have more comparison with a legit Seki S...

What are the other students doing? Sometimes matching a hobby with an assignment works; when it does that's a magical thing. Sometimes you just have to do something mind-numbing to pass a class. Given the information needed, you might have to match the curve of the class...no matter how boring it m...

3 days? Procrastinate much? Like Deacon said I doubt you'll get it unless Sal or someone directly from Spyderco contacts you with the info, as I really don't see any forum members who would have it. You'd do better contacting them directly. Thanks so much for your suggestion, just trying that to di...

Need help on Tenacious sales data for academic use, due in 3 days

Hi guys and gals, this is funghiman, an old customer to Spyderco and new member to this forum here. I am working on a project on the Creative Industry, and have picked up the Tenacious as my target product. Briefly it will need promotional pieces, price curves and market reports to support my analys...
