Buzzbait that's a review I like! Very good competition between both knifes - you don't make it too easy for yourself and therefore it's a good overview for all of us :)

I will get a Para-Military in the next few days (I already ordered before you posted) :D

Effigy, welcome here and much fun with :spyder: 's!

I always thougth that the knife laws in GB are very strict and therefore Spyderco produced the UK-Penknife. Did you consider this before your decided to buy a Delica?

By the way - Delica is a good knife (I've 4 Delicas) :)

I really like the Hawkbills but I voted for Drop Point & Sheepfoot as the are more versalite.

@spydutch: Serrated isn't a blade shape IMHO ;) :D

I own one Military G10, plain and one Military Carbon, plain. So I've to decide what to vote; I decided to vote for Carbon as multiple vote isn't possible :(

Hi Dave,

my Starmate just checked :)

- no steel liner(no tube) in lanyard hole, just a "black" hole in the G-10
- just the nested liner lock like used in the Military

It seems that VWTattoo and I have the absolutely same concept for our Starmates.

@Soilworker:
1) Micarta is a composite of linen or paper fabric in an eopxy resin that provides light weight, durability and visual appel (this is was spyderco says).
To my great regret, only a few spyderco models use micarta as handle material :(

2) Welcome in this forum :D and in :spyder: land
