Re: When will the Native 5 LC200N be available?
Now that they are coming out with a Native Salt, I want to see a Manix 2 LW in LC200N and translucent yellow FRN scales. Wow that's a great idea. I didn't love the idea of the plastic handle at first but have really started liking my LW Manix. I just wish the weight balance was better but you know,...

Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
My knife looks great except some loctite under the clip. I thought I saw that posted in another post on this thread but I couldn't find it. What is a good solvent for the loctite that won't hurt the G10? Thanks Is this under the original tip down factory clip location after moving it to tip up? I t...

Re: Smock Flipper
If it's carried in the left hand is it likely the button could be depressed accidentally? Eric said the button won't open the blade WAIT, WHAT???? After watching some videos again, I have to ask, does pushing the button move the detent out of the way when closing? The original smock can be opened b...

Re: Finally got a sharpening system
I really like my KME, def suggest getting the beast diamond if you're going to reprofile a tool steel. Great bargain for what you get but I do like other systems more they just cost more too. I've had good luck using my phone with an angle app to find the bevel angle.

They didn't offer black scales but I would have accepted it if they hadblendergasket wrote: That's a shame. I wonder if that means they would've had to destroy the scales to fix it? I also wonder if they would replace it with regular black scales.

Re: Please help me fix my urban pivot
Recently sent in my K390 Urban to Spyderco because my pivot was spinning. They said they don't have any more of those grey scales and sent it back. Wouldn't waste your postage sending it in. Did you happen to strip the "D" in the scale's pivot-hole that is supposed to keep the flat-edged ...

Yes now it uses the standard stamped spyderco clip, will be hole tapped on each side for it. This is going from the BHQ posts recently and the updated production prototypes seen at blade

Re: ZDP189 Knife Steel on Spyderco Knives: Is it stainless or not?
I've been reading a lot on knife steel nerds and depending on heat treatment the chromium might be in use in carbides instead of being in solution to form a protective oxide layer.

Re: Burnt Orange Rex 45
Hitachi will send us any steel we want except ZDP. They say that ZDP must be heat treated by their authorized heat treating houses that they've trained. I'm carrying a production Para 3 in REX 45 today, so it won't be long now. sal This and the forum knife and just picked up the cruwear, I'm going ...

Re: V-TOKU2 endura and hap40 wharncliffe delica have dropped!
I wish I could jump on these but I already spent my budget on the cruwear PM2. Couldn't pass up this round of the cruwear since I was dumb and passed up the grey PM3.

Re: Caribbean Salt Sheepfoot first impressions
Is the pocket clip engraved like the bug on the blade? Great pic, I saw someone dyed one blue on fb, looked really good. I hope they use this handle technique on other models with other colors. Also really like the way they did the liners and made the G10 fill the skeleton holes to keep dirt out of ...
