Re: Do you cold brew (coffee) ?

I love coffee, but my stomach and head are not really fans :( When I made a recent foray back in to having morning coffee, the tool was a Bodum Santos vacuum brewer. Re: Do you cold brew (coffee) ?

I used to use the same setup for my wife, she prefers iced coffee. When we both retired she drank a lot more coffee! :) Now we brew one pot a day, but turn off the heat as soon as the coffee is finished brewing.

Re: Spyderco Consumer Announcement

Congratulations to all the whiners (Collectors of participation trophies, flipper haters, resellers for profit haters etc.), we are now going to pay much more money for a Spyderco. It's the only 'fair' way to go.

No problem here Chuck. I usually don't post in new member threads anyway. We had our disagreements but we alway managed several messages back and forth before it got too tense. :D

Those scales are gorgeous, IMO. Of the group, these are the best, though the others are quite nice too.

Re: Numbered spyderco price gaugers

OP, you do realize that you started a thread with a negative tone, so it's not a huge surprise that it has continued to be negative. I'd also wager that, seeing as how you're an active forum member, you're quite aware of how threads about selling knives for profit has been a cause of contention in ...

Re: Numbered spyderco price gaugers

If you bought it and you own it you can do what ever you want with it. You can ask and sell it for what ever you feel like and if someone buys it good for you. I have always liked making money on knives. I have no problem with making money on knives. That is what makes collecting fun. If you get a ...

Re: Numbered spyderco price gaugers

To the OP, what if you just mind your own business? I'm not calling you out, venting on issues that bother you is fine, but what someone does with something they paid for and own is their business. The price for which they sell their property is the business the seller and the buyer. If the you don'...

Re: Crowdfunding a Spyderco knife?

A sponsorship level that geta the sponsor a knife would eliminate the crying about missed buys and resellers making a profit, but whomever sponsors the group would be doing a ton of work and need to be compensated.

I'd be interested to know what you think after it arrives. I watched the promotional video and it appears to be pretty strong.

Re: Protection while walking

Just a bit of clarification, I don't recommend those tiny keychain canisters of pepper-spray that are good for little more than inspiring a very false sense of security. The bigger units that put out an actual spray instead of one lone stream, are far better when actually needed. Seconded, I had on...
