I had a ladybug as a keychain, and it worked fine for me. The only reason I took it off, is that I have way too many keys (work related), and also I have a knife in every pocket so...

My Vallotton had a pleasant task today. It opened a box just to find a new buddy in there. Manix 2 XL has arrived along with sharpmaker. :D

My vote will go to Tim Zawada. It is CF and IMO the shape of the blade is the classiest out of all.

Got both of them and my vote goes to Vallotton. Even though I'm a big Schempp's fan, Navaja did not impress me that much. Ergos are fine but the blade just does not feel wright. I have two Vallattons, one of which is my edc. Love the blade, the ergos, the looks and the finish of this knife. A bit &q...

Yep, got all the boxes for every knife ever bought. All my knives are in the display cases so I don't have to dig through the boxes to get the one I need. The boxes are there because once in a while I can get really generous (after a few glasses of scotch) and can give one of them as a gift to close...

We're coming to the end of another year and reflecting back, it has been quite an exciting one with regard to all the Spyderco releases. After much deliberation I vote the Spyderco Vallotton Sub-Hilt Folder as my 2011 Spyderco Knife of the Year. How about you? http://www.spyderco.com/pix/products/m...

Ok, my fellows Canadians. How come we are paying so much more for our knives. I know: the customs, import and the HST for us. I hate to say it, but for past couple of years I bought my knives from States. I don't want to bring up any political issue here but I just don't see my self paying extra, fo...

Spyderco Totem 2012

It has been a while since I read about Sal's pendant. Ever since I thought it was really cool the way he explained what it means to him. Since all of us on this forum follow his vision about knives, I thought this thread will be appropriate to post in the "general discussion". Anyway, I th...

S&R will give you a better deal than W&W if you go in person. Talk to Rodney, and tell him you got cash and he has to keep the holiday spirit. Lol. The best in stock choice of Spyderco I have ever seen.

If your budget is $200, you can look into Ti Millie. I believe you can find them for about $230. But what a knife :D
The thing is you will have to wait on this beauty to come out, and I'm not sure when it will happen.

You can check out Sage Titanium. You can find it for around $150, give or take. IMO, you can't go wrong with the Sage line. Ergos, design and materials are great. I'm flicking my CF as I'm writing this.

I live in Claremont; halfway between everything SoCal--desert, mountains and oceans.
Ed Schempp makes collaboration knives with Spyderco.
