How about a Delica with Damasteel blade and Almite handle? Gun metal blue would look great.

Thanks guys. I feel these are two of the best "all-around" folders out there. The Delica is my most commomly carried EDC. I also have the drone. I just wanted to see what the opinions were of those who use/train defensively.

Delica/Endura as MBC

How does our esteemed panel of MBC experts feel about the Delica/Endura in a defensive role?

It depends on how much is broken off. You could either re-shape the tip from the edge, or taper it from the back. Maybe you caught a staple from a box? You could also check with warranty & repair. Good luck.

Sit down and talk to your mom. Explain to her why you want/need this knife. Even if she won't go for the Mil, perhaps one of the smaller models (Delica, Native, etc.) would be acceptable. Just keep in mind that she is only looking out for YOU. Good luck

Clay,
Excellent post! I carry knives for utility purposes. That, and just because I like them. Thoses are, IMO, the two best reasons to carry. The ONLY way I would even consider defensive use was if there was ABSOLUTELY no other way out. May that day never come for any of us.

Great choce! The Delica has replaced the Native as my primary EDC. It gives me more grip options. I also have the Calypso Jr. All three are truly outstanding knives. The Delica trainer would be a good idea, too. You can practice drawing and opening without the risk of cutting yourself, the furniture,...

The Endura or Delica would be good choices. You can also get trainer (drone) versions of these knives. The Native is a good choice, too. Good luck and let us know what you decide. Oh yeah, welcome to the forum

The Native is the best carry knife I've found. A great all purpose blade shape, and great ergonomics. One of the best buys out there.
