I voted for the Schempp Rock based on your requirements. If you have the tools and experience to keep that recurve blade sharp then I think you will be a happy man :)

**** Senor, I hope the gods of Spyderco's past, present and future forgive you for this. Perhaps a pilgrimage to Spyderco HQ in Golden is in order, at least you can go home with a few new purchases, lol. I just hope Eric Glesser doesn't find this thread. As the designer of this knife, death by a tho...

Thanks for all the replies everyone. The SB Delica's were unfortunately sold out within 24 hours and I didn't pull the trigger fast enough. I guess there is a lesson here, if you want a limited edition knife then you have to go for it straight away and pay what you have to pay.

Owning a PM2 is a lot like a marriage. You might stray once in a while but you'll always come home at the end of the day lol

You made a great choice, enjoy it :)

Thx Jim for your pics. Great looking knife. How does the S110V rank alongside other production knives that you have tested in rope cutting?

get well soon

Spyderco Delica 4 SB or Manix 2 FRN S110V?

So guys, I need your help. Which of these two knives would you buy if you could only buy 1? I missed out on the Delica before because I already have a vg-10 version and I didn't want to pay so much for one ($160), but now I kind of regret it. Or should I go for the Manix 2 S110V. I don't have a Mani...

When my Delica was new it was pretty tight also. In the beginning I loosened the pivot screw and put a drop of oil in there, that helped a lot with smoothness and after a couple of weeks I re-tightened the pivot completely and it stayed almost the same. Now 7 months later it's even smoother and gett...

Thanks everyone for the replies and warm welcomes. I can't believe I forgot to add the Yojimbo 2 to my list, I must be getting old, lol. The SB Stretch is certainly a priority for me, I missed out on an SB Delica a short while ago because I wasn't willing to pay $160 for it but I hope to have better...

Hey everyone!

Hi everyone, I'm Jon and I finally got round to joining the forum :D I got into Spyderco knives a couple of years ago after a bad experience with a chinese made knife that literally fell apart in my pocket after 2 weeks of EDC, lol. After that I decided to go for a reputable and well made pocketknif...
