Could someone answer this question please.

How does XHP hold an edge longer than S30v?

Is it due to hardness?

It's just that in the Spyderco steel chart, S30v seems to have better ingredients (elements) than XHP, to a novice like myself.

Also

Where the blade meets the lock the piece of steel at the bottom of the blade is sloped causing the lock to stop half way. Sorry if I am repeating myself but is this still normal.thanks.

Is the lock on my chokwe normal?

Hi this is my first ever post.
The frame lock on my chokwe does not sit flush with the blade when locked open. It stops about half way (overlaps) instead of lining up flush with the blade. Is this normal or should it line up pefectly? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
