Where the blade meets the lock the piece of steel at the bottom of the blade is sloped causing the lock to stop half way. Sorry if I am repeating myself but is this still normal.thanks.

Is the lock on my chokwe normal?
Hi this is my first ever post.
The frame lock on my chokwe does not sit flush with the blade when locked open. It stops about half way (overlaps) instead of lining up flush with the blade. Is this normal or should it line up pefectly? Any advice would be much appreciated. Thanks.
