Hope we'll get to see pics with that PM2 as the Star in front of a mountain scenery... :smirk
Best I could do, Gernot.

Re: You guys can keep your straight spine Stretch

Definitely get C01 Worker vibes here.

I like the modified clip on the straight spine better, but I do see the appeal here. Looks fittingly evil.

Manix2 FFG blade on a pm2 handle; comp lock or cbbl whatever works.

I really really liked the Manix 2 blade, even more so than my beloved pm2s’, but the handle ergos killed me and I can’t even say why. Just didn’t like them.
Same, but I’d prefer a Shaman handle.

Re: Best Spyderco for Backpacking

I think this was a fun debate a few years ago when it was last asked. At the time, I felt the Stretch 2 was the best pick because of its light weight, comfortable handle, and great slicing geometry. Since the launch of the Stretch 2 XL, it is no longer a debate. That knife smashes the blade length:w...

... Dude - Stellar collection!!! I’ve gotta get on the “Premium” fixed blade bandwagon and I’m sure it’s a 🐇🕳️…but I hike/camp or kayak/canoe trip and hunt/fish too much not to at least get a couple…would love an edc and bushcraft model or maybe just something in the middle…thinking about a couple ...

Re: Gentleman’s Knife Recommendation

Congrats!

Chapparal in Birdseye Maple would be my recommendation.

I’m also getting married this summer, and will probably carry my Sebenza when I’m wearing pants and a small fixed blade when I’m not. ;) 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

These liner delete AWT scales are amazing. I think they made the knife even lighter.
Man, those look nice. How’s the chamfering?

Re: Bark River Knives

I only have one Bark River - a Macassar-ebony-handled 'First Production Run', unused but with no box. I think I paid too much, but I love Macassar Ebony and wanted a BR drop point hunter as my first one. I was not impressed with the finishing details as compared to my L.T. Wright hunter - you can b...

I added the Military 2 to my wishlist at DLT.

Cool part about that is no more worrying - I’ll get an email when it comes out. ;)

Re: I prefer the Native Chief Over the Millie.

I like the Chief better in pocket and the Military better in hand. I haven’t carried either that much since I got the StretchXL. I agree , much prefer both f my Stretch XL models over the Millie and Chief . Dan I agree. The S2XL fits my hand better, and carries better with a Lynch clip. Can’t wait ...

https://i.imgur.com/ky0L7Io.jpg My coil lanyard came undone a few weeks ago, and I’ll have to cut a new thong to replace it. Trying out the long lanyard today, think I’ll try some snake knots next just for something different. Didn't take you as the thong wearing type :winking-tongue https://i.post...

Re: Military 2 Discussion (Merged)

I have to say, lately I've been falling out of love with the tip down part of the Military 1 because of this... https://i.imgur.com/9qi2S12.jpg I stopped carrying my Military while wearing my Carhartts for this reason. To be fair, I also carry my car fob in that pocket, which adds to the problem. I...

Re: Outdoor folder

When I think of using a knife outdoors, one thing that matters a lot to me is handle comfort. I’m less concerned with traction, and more concerned with a lack of hotspots. I might consider, in your shoes, a Stretch or a Shaman. Both have more contoured scales than either the PM2 or the Manix, and wi...
