Curious... Does that mean New Yorkers can carry any size knife they like if it was not concealed?

Use this calculator to calculate eBay fees. http://www.rolbe.com/ebay.htm It'll tell you how much eBay will charge you for that listing, how much Paypal will take away, and how much you'll end up with at the end. Try to avoid worldwide sales but if you must, priority shipping is only $13.00 or so (...

Used to love them when I worked a lot of poly ropes but not anymore. Yes, they need to be a certain length or it's pretty much useless. An Endura is just about right for removing and making new splices.

Delica, hollowed ground at first and now a purple FFG. I check it in with my luggage on the plane. In Asia carrying a knife is usually a non issue as long as you can justify purpose... for that I carry a travel rod and reel wherever I go. I only travel to fish anyways.

Good luck and tell me how it goes... I haven't been here in a while due to poor health and I may have to let go of almost my whole collection by the end of the year.

I was in law enforcement for 10 years before getting injured and asking for the transfer into the teaching service. I'm not sure if this applies to teachers everywhere but generally the pay we draw here does not commensurate to the amount of hard work we've to put in. Compared to teaching I've found...

I'm developing a hoarding issue... It wasn't apparent to me till I did a headcount recently. Just the Manix 2... 3 x pinks, 2 x blues, 2 CF and 6 x FG. Have a Manix 1, 1 x FG. I'm going to give it a rest, no new knives till the year end bonus.

I like the idea of a sprint run but there's something about the red on that Persian that doesn't sit well with me... A bit too brownish maybe.

Fishing Specific...

I went through the Spyderco catalogue and realised something odd. How come Spyderco never made a knife specifically for fishos? I know there's the H1 series but since H1 can't be flat ground I'm not really interested in the Salt series. The current FB available are all more suited for hunting; too w...

I don't own any PRC made knives but that's because the Tenacious doesn't have a choil and it's not a backlock.

Thankfully it truly is purple unlike the purple Ladybugs which seems more lavender to me.

The colour came out pretty accurate. Could be worst. The hot pink on the FRN models are definitely brighter. Still, I don't see myself carrying this around, too much explaining to be done.

I like the Native IV CF ... I'll have to try to compare one day with the Caly3 CF and the Sage CF ... would be nice to see how they compare :) I don't have a Sage but yeah, I never thought about comparing it to the Caly CF. ZI do prefer the Caly though. Maybe it's the thumb ramp. I've grown so used...

The Superhawks were a pleasant surprise. I'm starting to like the compression lock quite a bit. It's actually very lefty friendly. I may actually get a Para one of these days, http://img63.imageshack.us/img63/6238/superhawk01.jpg http://img21.imageshack.us/img21/6636/superhawk02.jpg http://img823.im...

Love my CF Spydies... I prefer the smooth polished types compare to the textured stuff. The weave looks really nice and I don't care much if they're slippery and all. As long as the handle is ergonomic, has a choil and some gimping I see no reason they may slip off during cutting. http://img534.imag...

My Spydies so far...

Got me a decent camera at long last! Here are some of my collection so far... Pink Manix 2. I ordered 2 of these but the dealer messed up so I'm still waiting for the other one. I'm very happy with the shade of pink but there's a smudge of red at the tip of the handle as it didn't come in a plastic ...
