The only fixed blades I use regularly are in the kitchen.

Unless legally bound to shorter knives, I would go with the larger PacSalt knife over the Salt 2.

This is the first time I have been really disappointed with the catalog.

At least Spyderco won't have to raise the price of the new release knives in the catalog with the large annual increase before they are available to the public.

I really like 52100. The only issue I have with it, just like super blue and other carbon steels, is that the edge starts to corrode and degrade very quickly after use (food etc). As long as the FRN doesn't make it too portly, I am all for the FRN Caly.

I honestly hope it is integrated in the whole Endura, Stretch, Delica, Dragonfly, et al... posse. It would be nice to have some sprints down the road.

A HAP40 Caly 3.5 with the same green G10 from the 3" model would make me happy.

Not a crazy deal, but the sliverax has been 146 on amazon the last few days. About as cheap as I have seen them.

I haven't seen any mention of a FRN Caly 3, just that Sal was testing a pre-production prototype to try and figure things out.

Hope it is brought to market, but nothing concrete yet.

The Light Weight Chapparal wins for me. The k390 Urban is another good one. I have a few, but have never been a big fan of the dragonfly.

I carried a number of combo edged knives in the 90s when that seemed like it was all I could get. I still have a CE Stretch that belonged to my father, but I am not a fan of the CE. Congrats. The Military is a great knife.

When I first received mine, I was shocked at how big it was. After a while it doesn't seem so bad.
