Never had a problem on eBay, and have bought quite a few Spydies there in the past few months, most of them discontinued models, NIB. Some have been real bargains, got a Massad Ayoob for $66, a JD Smith for $55, a SS D'fly for $27 and a burgundy micarta Jester for #25. Have also bought some, like th...

Dynarider, I guess that's what I did. I'm not really up on all the knot names. Definitely did a double noose with the two end cords. Then just passed the monkey knot thru the noose twice around the keyring (it was longer than I wanted it when I only did one pass thru). Is that a larksfoot? Have to g...

Saw the ball knot here, wanted to do one, spent a week trying and trying. Spent as much time chasing marbles around the room as trying to tie the darn knot. Every time I thought it was looking good, the blasted marble would pop out! Someone at work suggested using a die (think that's the singular of...

The thicker, contoured handles do take a bit of getting use to, at first it felt kind of clunky i...

I posted a larger copy of this pic over on the Spyderco forum at BladeForums, but here it is. Got it yesterday, really nice knife, smooth as silk and locks up tight. Spring is a bit stronger that the Native I, but not strong enough to make it hard to open.

They do come up once in a while. There was a plain edge on eBay a few weeks back. That one found a good home. The one on the block now looks to be serrated. Is the number on it a collectors club number? They are beautiful knives.
