Re: Should the Delica have a regular production model with upgraded scales/steel?

I believe that one is announced but hasn't shipped yet. Good call though, it slipped my mind. I do have the P4 serrated but haven't really tested it enough yet to judge the steel. Personally I'd like an upgraded steel in a serrated offering. I've tried VG10 and have a little experience with ZDP with...

At this point I could sell everything but the Caribbean, ladybug and Delica and probably be content. Repeats: 1 Caribbean Salt SE 2 Dragonfly Salt SE 3 Waterway 4 Pacific Salt 1 SE 5 Ladybug 2 Salt SE 6 Warrior New for 2021: 7 P4 K390 serrated in G10 scale swap 8 BBS Delica M390 2019: Caribbean Salt...

Re: Should the Delica have a regular production model with upgraded scales/steel?

Personally I'd like an upgraded steel in a serrated offering. I've tried VG10 and have a little experience with ZDP with so so results. I prefer the thinner Delica scales and smaller hump/hole over the Salt2, so that eliminates H1 and LC200N. Even as a Sprint I'd love to see some more love for the s...

Arise from the dead oh long forgotten thread. 💀

Sorry to dredge this back up, I just saw these and I love this yellow/green zome flavor. Has it been repeated on any other releases?

Re: Anyone else concerned?

I prefer the Taichung and USA collaborations over the PM2/3/Shaman blade steel rotation but I also recognize I'm in the minority. As long as the exclusives and sprints keep selling out in >10 seconds, it's hard to argue against them. I was very happy with the last two pieces from Lance, and realisti...

Re: Random: General Spydie Chat

I try not to criticize Spyderco too often, the last time I was recall was with the ugly left hand carry clip holes on the swayback and I'm over that. One thing has been bugging me for a while though, I would like to add a trainer Delica to the collection but I just cannot get over the price on the t...

Re: Knife Joy 20CV Delica drops today

I haven't purchased a PE Delica in many years but I noticed this one is still available. Giving it some thought tonight, I'd like to try a premium steel in the Delica platform.

Re: Which GOLDEN ERA Model Should Be Next?

Serrated baby Jess Horn, micarta scales, removable pivot.

LC200N Rock Salt.

There's one that looks like a Benchmade AFCK but I never learned the name. Wouldn't mind trying one.

Can we get details on where to find this new bright green Salt? I'm up for a little hiking.

Re: Old guys on the forum

Dropped a butchers knife and clipped the tip of my big toe doing the dropped knife dance a few weeks ago. Band aid job only but left a bit of claret on the floor. I had my glasses on so I could see the potatoes I was cutting up. :nerd Had 20-20 vision up to a few years ago. And can read a sign half...

Re: Dragonfly Blade Swap Advice

I've never dabbled in modding knives before, but I would like to do a blade swap on two of my DF2's. Nothing too crazy, just a test to see if I can pull it off successfully before moving onto more complex mods. For tools, I've got a Wiha T6 and T8 and medium strength Loctite. Am I missing anything?...

Re: Your 2021 Spyderco Knife of the Year !

Serrated Police 4. This was easy as it's the only Spyderco I've kept from the few I purchased this year. That said, I prefer the Caribbean and the police hasn't seen a great deal of pocket time after the first week or so. I am looking forward to a number of knives- an LC200n dragonfly, a salt lil na...

Re: Spyderco Forum Engagement Down

For me it's the endless stream of exclusive rehashes of the same old same old that has made my interest all but go away.. I have no desire to own umpteen slightly different knives of the same model (unless they're Kopas :) ) and the whole drill surrounding the exclusives is nothing i care to get in...

One way is to make a post saying you're gonna throw away knives and wait for people to message you asking what you have for sale 🤣

Re: Small upscale serrated folder

In the 1990's I passed on several of these SE C27 Jess Horn Spyderco knives. Was not into serrated edge knives at the time. Never found a plain edge for sale. https://youtu.be/iHayj2dd2xI http://www.cuttingedge.com/knife/klc09335_c27_jess_horn_lockback https://www.spydiewiki.com/index.php?title=C27...

Re: Small upscale serrated folder

I'll add that my solution the last few years is a VG10 Delica dropped into Aramis custom G10 scales.
