Post deleted Not worth derailing this thread further- String opinions, strongly held won’t be unified in an online knife forum. Here in Aus we had a drastic law change after a shooting and we are better for it however that may not be what’s right for you lot. Wasn’t meaning to be contentious, Dave....

Re: About that big thing that happened...
Seems like extreme reactions with little basis in reality, however when a company helps their local police it shouldn’t hurt their business- But to think that BM didn’t see it as a chance to get some good publicity would be erroneous I suspect. I like BM more for it- Frankly I think you lot like you...

Re: About that big thing that happened...
Nothing will happen- From what I understand the folk BM support have been those against bump stocks, limited mag size and so on- not anti second amendment. Those are all extremely anti 2nd amendment policies. Don’t think so as it doesn’t actually impact on your gun ownership- arnt these ...

Re: About that big thing that happened...
Firstly I thought it odd that they would support those political affiliations but they arnt a firearm company and have their own affiliations- who knows perhaps someone in a position of power there lost someone due to gun violence or perhaps not, they are free to support the political positions the...

Re: About that big thing that happened...
The issue isn't for a lot of people BM cutting up some junk guns, but the fact they have been financially supporting some highly anti 2A politicians. People seem to have forgot how BM ripped off Spyderco, and just recently tried to screw Doug Ritter. Maybe all this is just karma. Firstly I thought ...

Re: Happy Birthday "The Meat Man"
Thanks everyone! It's been a nice quiet (and rainy) day here. I don't have a whole lot planned for today, just enjoying being at home and getting to play with my 8 month old son. :) Happy birthday Mate! I had my birthday on the 21st and spent the day like you, with my 8 month old son-Hard to beat h...

Re: About that big thing that happened...
All I know is that I wont keep the BM in the same room as the nerf guns- just to be safe. I don’t think the guns are exclusively from crime but some may have been forfitted by owners, or family members when the owners pass away or any number of other circumstances- even if the guns could have been s...

Re: About that big thing that happened...
Also here is a second question about this: Why does the law say that any weapon that has been used in a crime has to be melted down or destroyed? Why wouldn't they want to clean them up, refurbish them if necessary, and recycle them for sale to legitimate gun and knife owners and any interested spo...

Re: Warehouse knife
I think you would be hard pressed to find something that didn’t work in this situation- I have used everything from my ambitious through delicas, para3, pm2, yojimbo2, stretch2 and any number of other variants- They are all perfectly serviceable, I think the main thing is that you need to like it. I...
