I think the manix spring is perfect. It might seem more difficult for people who arent used to the knife, but once you get used to it the spring is perfect.

At basically the same price as the m4 delica, it will be hard to say no.

You just need practice. The stretch was one of my first spydercos and I remember it seeming harder to flick.

After enough practice I can flick almost any spyderco. The only one that I still have trouble with is the backlock manix 2.

Im curious to know why your thought process for a book about how to pick and carry knives, receives its credibility based on how many knife fights the author has been in, without even knoeing the author. I can't think of any other domain where you can somehow be an expert without having ever actual...

The shaman has the better choil grip. Standard grip I might say manix.

The shaman really is a heavy duty knife, if you dont need thick blade stock then save some money and get the manix. The manix can also handle a lot.

If you just want a wharncliffe blade spyderco has plenty.

I would recomend the endura or delica wharncliffe for general use.

As far as a knife for self defense goes well...

Training matters. If you know what you are doing then the type of knife or stick or whatever doesnt matter as much.

I emailed Knife Works about their dark green/204P combo on this model. Hopefully it comes to pass one day. Are their any sprints or exclusives you’d like to see?

The problem with the serrated k390 p4lw is that its k390.

I like it. I want one. I wish that blade shape was its own model.

The coating on clips usually depends on where they came from. Golden or Seki or... And even the I have seen different coatings come out of the same factory. At least 2 different types of coatings out of Seki, and 2 different types out of Taichung. The coating Golden uses seems to be dlc but the othe...
