Re: LC200N Native 5 Salt. Still no knife. Come on! When???

Hi Cobra, It could be done, but I really see no performance or practical reason to do so. I think the Caribbean could serve that function? We'll probably ultimately make it in another color, probably black? sal Yes black! Please! I want one for edc and black is so much better suited for that role i...

Re: LC200N Native 5 Salt. Still no knife. Come on! When???

Got mine yesterday from KC. Does anyone else find theirs very stiff. Mine is, and it's not a "tight pivot" issue. Rather it seems to be the amount of tension the spring and lockbar put on the blade. Mine is, too, but I haven't had a chance to try adjusting the pivot. I adjusted the pivot ...

Re: How to get more women/females into Spyderco?

Just got my wife a used Delica. She likes it as I got it in her favorite color blue. Funny part is I got her virtually the same knife several years ago and she didn't want it. I was much more obsessed with knives then so she didn't want anything to do with them. My obsession has become more of a hob...

I've never heard anything good about spyderco resharpening. I have heard they will remove quite a bit of blade. If I were you I would just sell as is or sharpen yourself.

I modified mine like Jazz with the help of a dremel and some sandpaper. For my uses its much more practical. The tip is still plenty stout since its not a ffg.

Not everywhere gaj999. I have been in my new home for over a year and I have had 100% of my Amazon orders come UPS or FedEx and I have not had the USPS handle delivery of any packages for either one of them. I shop online a lot due to my rural location. I think a lot of the cooperation going on bet...

Excited to see this. I will most definitely have to pick one up even though I'm not keen on the handle choice as many of you are. Really glad spyderco is using some American steels on this iconic model. Maybe well get M390 or S110v next. One can only hope. Edit: Does anyone know if Knivesplus and kn...

Re: Petition: make all PE Salts in LC200N

Probably more chance of seeing LC200N versions of some of the past and present Golden models than similar versions of the models made in Japan. This. Just make Salt versions of current or future Golden made knives. Give me a Manix 2 Lightweight in LC200N. I would LOVE a Manix 2 lw in LC200N. Or any...

Re: S110v vs M390 pm2

S110v is more corrosion resistant than any regular stainless steel from what I have read. Also a guy on here who is constantly around salt water confirms this. M390 is also very corrosion resistant as well. I don't think your boyfriend should have a problem with either. M390 should be a little less ...

I've never handled a stretch but look forward to giving the Stretch 2 a shot. I've heard to many good things about the original. Just never cared for the look of the butt of the handle. Since they fixed that I will have to bite on this one.

Re: Question about linerless pivots

The Manix LW has an "8 shaped" liner, with one hole of the 8 going around the pivot and the other hole going around the tip pin of the back spacer/lock assembly block. Personally I wish this small design would make its way to ALL linerless FRN knives. I have one Dragonfly 2 that the D sha...

Re: Pacific Salt One Year Later - A Big Surprise / Sleeper EDC Knife

Awesome write up, Dan! I had the same reaction to the weight as you when I realized how light it is. It's really an outlier on the trendline of size vs weight. I don't have an Endura 4 so I can't really compare the handles, but I actually really like the current 3 style handles on the Pacific. Aren...

Re: This Pocket Jockey rose to the top

I have had a similar experience with the delica. I just can't find one that I like carrying more. I didn't start with the delica but I ended with one for the foreseeable future. You just can't beat it for edc. I have other great Spyderco's but they just can't beat out the delica for edc.
