Re: BD1N is no slouch, man…

Hmm, y'all are making me rethink my disdain for my Blade GQ Alu model.....
Love the scales but never gave the blade a fair chance due to thinking it was "entry level".

Hiking yesterday at 2 degrees F, my PE Stretch 2 XL accompanied me. So light, so capable.

Re: New Topic

I seriously like it. It is a cheaper steel, and as I said, very easy to keep shaving sharp. Mine is/gets sharper than my S30v PM2, although I realize there is more to that than the steel. Appreciate that input. I do like my "super steels" but also like blades that will get REAL sharp, esp...

I do have one question, anyone know what the blade is actually coated in/with? Description just says: "Black Coated"

Only $65 over the regular retail price.

So greedy…
Hmm, not sure I'd say greedy. But I'm notoriously cheap! Plus, it will be around for a while, whereas the Rex45 will be gone soon.

Re: DLT Cruwear Endela

this knife is really tempting me, but ultimately, the endela makes me just want other knives more. i'd rather have a delica or an endura than the endela. and if i wanted something more comparable in size, i'd rather have a completely different design like the rockjumper, leafjumper, or stretch. i t...

Plain edge just dropped on Country Knives.....$216.
Wow, as much as I want one, I'm thinking that the Rex45 FRN seems a better deal while they last.

Re: POWERHOUSE

With three in my sock drawer and one in my pocket, there's no denying I'm partial to this design. On this forum, nobody blinks an eye if anyone has 4 versions of a specific model, that's rookie numbers around here, but to me it's quite absurd and by far the most of any model, and really speaks to m...

Hi Bolster,

I'd like to thank you for your poll efforts. Very professionally done and valuable.

I agree and, though not what I voted for, I'm still in for one. It's close enough and still a great knife and a reason to purchase my first UKPK!

Thank you both.

Can't believe I missed your post. Coincidentally, I asked for the same on the "New Byrd" thread. Both SE and PE please!

Re: Time for some different Byrd designs.

Me, I'd really love a PE Hawkbill! Oddly, it would be really close to a grail knife for me. I wouldn't be opposed to a Harrier 2 PE Hawkbill either.

Re: New Topic

I've got the same SE Wharnie Delica and like it a lot.

I recently picked up a PM2 with the Blue Anodized scales. I haven't used it much cuz I was being snobbish about the BD1N steel. I'll have to be a little more open minded and give it a try.

Re: POWERHOUSE

Like em so much, I picked up a Satin Super Blue today. Gotta say, I'm not usually a coating fan but really do like the look of the coated blade I picked up peviously.
