I think it was offered for sale on the site for a VERY brief time. Some folks commented about that on another thread which is what motivated me to pay them a visit in person. The SE's trickled in at first too, so I suspect they'll have more PE's again soon.
I’ve oiled FRN natives. I only had a 5 for a little while but my 4’s are fine, rivets and all. You could try a tiny amount of lithium grease. But I suspect you’re just tightening it too much. That's another likely possibility. Came home with this LW today, and it's smooth as silk. https://i.imgur.c...
Spyderco has done a great ivory FRN on the straight spine Stretch 2. I loved the color, but others weren't so thrilled I think. It was quickly replaced with other colors. GPKnives did a run of Native 5 lightweights in white last year (in Rex45, great steel) that seemed to take a while to sell (took...
Nice head-to-head comparison of Golden's and Seki's yellow FRN. This thread is making me interested in the Native 5 Salt for the first time... :face monocle The N5 Yellow is more of mustard in comparison. Fist time I saw one, I didn't think to compare it to a Seki. I remember saying it looked the s...

Glad you got lucky! I'll get one eventually. I kinda got lucky last week when I snagged the last Rex45 N5 GP Knives had. Gonna find me some Rit dye and have a little fun.
Hmm, for me, I tend to carry a PM2 more often than an M2. But, that is probably because most of my cutting needs don't require a knife as sturdy as the M2. But when I anticipate some heavy duty cutting, an M2 always finds it's way into my pocket. Don't see myself ever getting rid of either model.
Another thing, I probably would never have become a fan of SE had it not been for that Hawkbill. First, I just love the looks of that blade, hence my buying every Hawkbill Ladybug I ever come across. But more importantly, because it is so budget friendly, I finally learned to sharpen a SE knife by j...
Maybe it is already in the works :shush Though we wouldn't be able to add it as regular production, but it would make a nice Sprint for those that didn't get a chance to "taste" the design when they were out. sal That would work for me. Only have one, in VG10, so I'd love the K390 version...
Been a while since I've posted in these parts, but I just had to big up the SE Meadowlark 2 Wharncliffe. It makes for a great warehouse work knife: thin & slicey bladestock great for breaking down cardboard, tough enough to pop even thick pallet straps, a relatively compact form factor that sti...
I've never considered lubing a linerless FRN knife, since none of mine are sticky. Just lucky I guess, but I have a dozen or so. You may have gotten un lucky with that particular knife. Hope you get it straightened out. No other without bushing to compare it too. Just might be the nature of the bea...
