Re: Experiences with detent wear?
Just reporting in at the four month mark post ceramic bearing swap. Did notice some minimal smoothing of the edge of the detent hole and tang upon observation about two weeks after the swap--No visible progression in wear since. Action is markedly smoother than it ever was on steel, detent is still ...

On the one hand I don't want anything delaying that Swayback, but on the other hand that second generation Mouse from Slysz looks so great too!

The FRN regulars or the Calys would be hard to resist.

Re: Spyderco Enforcer and Spyderco Detective
I'm wanting the upcoming k390 Police 4 but a 4.4" folder is way outside of the size range I find appropriate for my lifestyle. An updated Rookie and 3.5" "Detective" would both be very attractive. K390 of course :D

Re: What to do with knives that have a worn detent?
Befriend a teacher and have them keep the knife after class. For detention. This made me chuckle. :) I'd ask if getting someone to bring it to school and earning detention could fix the problem but it seems as if most schools nowadays would have them arrested... Shipping to Golden is cheaper than p...

Thumbs up for any CBBL or BBLs (or even bolt action) in smaller packages. :D
I never quite found the Sage2 to suit my hand but I think I would give the line a second chance for either Ball-bearing locks.

Pm2 CQI question.
Been wondering what these two holes in the tang of my Cruwear Para were for/when they began appearing on Pm2s. Had to double check, but they aren't on my older S30v model.

Re: Experiences with detent wear?
Just one more thing to dislike about the ubiquitous liner/frame locks. I think I agree with this. When the knife bug first bit, I was prejudiced against what I figured were "boring" locks and steels. I suspect many of us were. Maybe those of you whose interest predates all these snazzy ne...

Re: Experiences with detent wear?
Just wanted to check in to say that I've been running my Mantra with a Silicon Nitride Ceramic ball for going on 30 days now. Swapping the ball was as easy as Igi964 made it sound--Popped out the lockbar insert, knocked the steel ball out with a watch springbar tool and tapped a ceramic one in with ...

Re: Spyderco C81GPGY2 Paramilitary 2 CRU-WEAR
Mine arrived this afternoon, couldn't be happier with it! The fit and finish is absolute perfection. They must be doing something right at the Golden CO. facility, It's push-cutting phonebook paper out of the box. :D Taichung gets some of the flashiest and most impressive models but I wonder if many...

Experiences with detent wear?
My Sage 2, Techno and Southard all have terrific detents and action after over a year of owning each of them. On the other hand, I stopped carrying my Bradley 1 when the ball detent ball had worn flat enough that the blade could be shaken open pretty easily. My current favorite EDC is my Mantra 1, b...

With the new stop pin, will these (and the 204p model) be possible to fully disassemble?

Re: Rhino
Looks great! I can't help but guess that the $50 price point has something to do with what appears to be "Taipei Taiwan" marked on the photos in the catalog.
