Re: Teflon Washers
Generally speaking I'd like to know where people buy replacement washers too. (Phosphor bronze).

You can tell in that secondary bevel how much smaller it is. Looks like the much thinner chpparal.

Check out specialty cutlery shops or gun stores. Call em up and ask them about selections. I also forgot about Bass pro shops.

Re: S90V, S110V, Maxamet?
Genarally speaking I baby the Maxamet when it comes to water and liquids. The s110v I'll rinse shake and pocket. If I cut open some food packaging I don't even clean it until next time I pocket it again. I don't think I could do that with maxamet. With G10 scales I could ways open it for a yearly cl...

Re: S90V, S110V, Maxamet?
rust and patina on the maxamet is no issue, but i noticed that i’ve to clean the pivot area more often on maxamet models than i’ve to do so on for example s110v blades hope that my experiences help you. This is what makes me worried about the LW manix 2 in Maxamet. I bought a used LW S110 manix and...

Spyderco warranty should get you some new washers. Not sure of how to prevent other than using shorter screws. Perhaps scale countersink was drilled too deep?

I used to be the same. It was just practice what was needed. I used to think it was impossible.

Re: KnifeCenter Exclusive CPM-Cruwear Paramilitary 2
So, hey: I finally decided that repeated opening/closing cycles wasn't going to loosen this thing's action enough to suit my tastes. But the pivot screws don't seem to be loosening at all. To those who have disassembled these: did they use permanent thread locker? Nope. Dissasembly mine to see abou...

Re: D'Allara 3 feedback
Iove everything about this knife except the difficulty of closing. Ive found I could do 1 hand closing by rolling the ball down the ramp. I roll my entire thumb tip length down while pushing down and flick the knife to disengage lock. Probably could not do this if hands were slippery or wet. Love t...

Re: Does Made in America Need to be Expensive?
Being an American I am naturally biased towards domestic products; however, the overarching consideration for me is not country of origin but quality. In a knife, this means good blade steel and handle materials, solid, functional, and safe construction, and outstanding fit and finish. Give me a ch...
