Paramilitary 2 Sprint Poll

I’m surprised this knife has not been created yet, even in different steel if Maxamet is not an option right now.

Sooo many people Frankinknife this combo on their own... it would be nice to have a clean, factory version.

Great looking M4.

I’m surprised people haven’t typed loud enough for a CF, DLC, Maxamat! That would be an epic knife that any Paramilitary 2 fan would love.

Re: Waiting for my new Spyderco Manix2 to arrive today.

I got a little crazy waiting for Knife Works exclusive green 204 Military to arrive. I literally left work 4 hours early, so I would be home when it got delivered. I know it’s ridiculous, but I would have been pissed if someone walked off with it while I was at work. Side note, Knife Works has great...

Re: The Importance of Spare EDC units: SE & PE

I have a Tenacious that lives in my truck, a 940 in my briefcase, and a Military in my pocket. I know it’s weird, but it’s just what makes me comfortable. Not having a knife when you need one really sucks.

The problem is, we all try to give advice based on our own experiences. And our experiences are all very different and unique. The point being, any advice we offer will necessarily be tainted by our own subjective experiences. This is spot on. I join forums like this one to get different opinions b...

Re: Help picking out a knife for my Father in-law

Even though it may not look like so, the Salt I (or II) is a tank of a medium sized knife. It has a very strong tip, the SE H1 is a high toughness steel with great performance and edge life, the FRN linerless handle is durable, and will take lots of use and abuse. The knife is medium/small sized, v...

Re: Help picking out a knife for my Father in-law

I’m searching for retail shop in Portland Oregon that have a good selection of these knives...from the video all of the recommended knives seem very nice.

Under $200 would be nice for the budget.

Re: Help picking out a knife for my Father in-law

The Native LW? It's a bit smaller than the Manix, with a more robust tip than the Military family. You also get lots of options for steel: S30V, S110V, Maxamet, and the upcoming LC200N. I have the Maxamet version (in my pocket as I type this) and it has been a great user knife for me. ^^ I was goin...

Help picking out a knife for my Father in-law

My father in-law is one of my favorite humans. He works hard, did a great job raising two girls who turned out well, and he is a good husband. I’m looking for your help picking out a Spyderco to gift him. My knife choices would not be appropriate for him...ie Military, PM2, Manix. 4 years ago I boug...

Re: ‘First’ Spyderco

You might really enjoy the Pacific Salt if you do a lot of fishing and water activities. The Paramilitary 2 is an iconic knife in my opinion. Try and get an available sprint or exclusive you think is cool while they are available. I also have the Knife Works M4 and it is truly a beautiful knife. You...

Re: Sprint Runs and the Abysmal Aftermarket.

You guys should really watch a show called American Greed, sums up this discussion nicely. Fact is, some people are just programmed to take advantage of others. To say that is “okay” of “I see nothing wrong “ with someone buying 20-30-100 of something people are really looking forward to owning and ...

Re: Sprint Runs and the Abysmal Aftermarket.

I have no idea what Maxamat is, but you all like it soo much, I’m pretty sure I’ll need a PM2 Maxamat someday too. Maxamet is legit. Cuts for days. If you don't have a Native LW yet I would suggest grabbing that in Maxamet to try. The Native LW is my favorite model. Really? Well yea, I gotta check ...

I put a black clip from another Millie on mine. Love how it goes with green, too bad the blade doesn't match :D
I bet the knife would have looked way cool with DLC. I'm waiting for a Military or PM2 with carbon fiber and Black DLC blade...that would be impressive.
