Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
They had a solid deal on matriarch 2s from the amazon japan seller as well, WilliamMummy. Sorry I didn't repost it here but I think I paid about 100 each for 2 of them. Less than 200 bucks for both. Now I have a blacked out one on the way and a spare, one of my favorite knives and a pretty reasonabl...

Re: *Shipping to Australia & New Zealand Suspended*
Yay, happy for folks who can order straight from SFO again. It reminded me that for all our issues, I am lucky to live in the same country with the folks in Golden.

Re: domestic vs foreign
Generally, production capacity plays a big role. Toward the end of the pre-hiatus Mule Teams, most of the Mules were farmed out to Taichung because Golden was so overloaded. Exactly. Aside from having consistently excellent quality, Taichung is capable of making pretty much anything made in Golden ...

Re: Crazy Good Deals Part 2!!
this is at regular retail price, but if any of you are looking to pick up the new Ayoob sprint and missed the brief period they were available, looks like knifecenter has both. I got notified by BHQ and snapped them up, but they sold out quickly. I figure hard to land sprints qualify as a deal compa...

Looks like DLT just put a second run of DLC purple Cruwear PM2s out. Thought someone would want to know. https://www.dlttrading.com/spyderco-paramilitary-2-purple-g-10-black-cru-wear-blade?utm_source=remarkety&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=spyderco%20purp%20pm2%20-%207-7-22&utm_content=&...

I'm absolutely interested, if it works out. If not, I'll be happy to try it on a salt series knife or similar.

I'm excited for mules in general, but steels I know little about are a little bit more attractive. T15 among them.

Re: C-60 Ayoob Campaign: No I Won't Shut Up
Cruwear?! How did I miss that? Not paying attention, I guess.
I was about to write a post about SE in premium steels and ask about tougher steels and serrations. May this pave the way for other special SE steels.

Also have been looking for what REX means, Crucible has some other steels referred to as REX in their documentation, including CPM M2 and CPM M4.

Re: Swick 5 ETA?
Sorry to hear about a death in the family, Sal. Super stoked about the Swicks nearing availability though. I love the Swick design and it's small enough not to draw too much negative attention (regardless of legality). I think I've had a preorder for a couple of years. First one got canceled, have a...

Love the Shaman, love M4, love micarta, absolute great user knife, and for close to the same price as a regular Shaman after price updates for 2022. Sold, I just hhope they don't spring some crap so only flippers with macros and autonotifications can buy.

Re: Fully Serrated Resilience!
Just heard about the S35VN SE Resilience being canceled from knife joker. That's a shame. I EDC my SE K390 Police which makes it sting a little less. Any other premium steel SE models out there currently? I was aiming larger but I like to have a rotation for PE as I do with PE. Apologies for the thr...

Re: Are you interested in a new run of Spyderhawk hawkbill?
I am absolutely into a new spyderhawk and would probably buy w or 3 if they aren't crazy expensive. A civi-based spyderhawk would be amazing but I'm not sure what it would cost. H1 is a great steel for SE, but I'd be good with LC200N or Magnacut for sure. I'd like to see how magnacut does on serrati...

I'd definitely like a new Vesuvius, and I still kick myself for not getting any of the Centofantes when I saw them at disco prices.
