My mechanism was smooth but had some resistance. I think most of the resistance was due to the choil (if I get my terms right) rubbing on the inside of the scale when closing. It may have aslo rubbed during the opening as well. After a few evenings watching TV, the complete opening/closing cycle was...

I cannot compare the Spydercard to the others you mention, because I've not been able to get my hands on them, but my Spydercard is 5.03mm overall width, and the blade is 2.22mm. Fits quite comfortably in my wallet and you wouldn't even know its there. There are other discussions of the card in this...

I have noticed that while the stainess scales on my Endura II and Calypso Jr. II are smoother, I tend to be more careful with the way I grip them during use. In a hunting or other rigorus activity I would probably use the FRN or G10. But, I really like the look of the stainless for city use. Can't w...

What would I do ? What I did, was carry on ! - I expained to the folks in a note that I did not use the knife and received it damaged, and although having my new-unused knife repaired upset me, I carry it daily, in cycle with my Calypso Jr. - In my case my knife is now a bit shorter, but so what ! I...

It is most unfortunate that people cannot see or understand the beauty of this little knife. When I first got my hands on 1, said WOW !. Ever since then I have enjoyed showing them off to interested friends. It appears, as well, that there are still a lot of people out there that would rather compla...
