I'm not as in love with Ti as a lot of people, but I'd be pretty interested to see an upgraded Ikuchi.
I wouldn't turn down an Ikuchi with the same blade/handle materials as the upcoming damascus UKPK. :D

Maybe the scales (pun intended) could have a theme like this:

Seems like a slippery option to me. I love my Ikuchi, but I can't imagine it being better in Ti.
I guess it depends on how the ti is engraved or finished. Something grippy but not snaggy could be interesting.

I hope it sells well enough that someone decides to initiate a bronze-handled run.

Re: Lynch Northwest Wire Clip Replacement Deep Carry Clip

The wire clip is nice, but if it's on a knife you carry often and take out of your pocket 20+ times a day, it seems to lose it's retention rather quickly. I have never had this happen with any of my wire clip Spydercos. Not even with Meerkats (different wire clip than newer models) and certainly no...

I finally picked one up a few days ago, and really like it. I can open it reliably with either hand (both index fingers, right thumb only so far). Very comfy in hand, small in pocket.

Re: Forum Knife 2020 - No Holds Barred!!!

Titanium PPT with steel lock face insert and ti standoffs and solid ti liners for ease of cleaning and low weight. LC200 blade, Taichung transport proof wood (stabilized?). Also Taichung should also specify “Earth” on their blades.

Re: Sun/Moon Chappy

Brass/copper/bronze is fun, but it would make it heavy as rock.....but some people like that aspect I guess. Some fullering or a nice, classic/classy deep pattern design would make the bronze lighter and also vary the texture enough for high and low spots to make patination pop. In the meantime, th...

Thanks for the feedback. I have medium sized hands and I suspect it wouldn't be as comfortable for me.
I have pretty small hands, and my two Dodos fit comfortably and quite securely. it doesn't have as many hand positions as some knives, but the ones it has are very secure.

strongly prefer the deep carry wire clip - i was really happy to see the Spydiechef come with one. I might grab an Ikuchi, too.

Re: Spyderco Amsterdam Meet 2019 Report

Why the confusion? Mr Blonde said the chief was linerless in his post. One of Wouter’s pics (third up from the bottom) appears to show metal where liners might be nested. i thought so, too, initially, but after zooming in it looks like that is light coming through from the back on either side of th...
