This is one of the VERY few Spyderco's that I just can not buy without first being able to see it in hand. And it all has to do with the shape of the blade -- not sure at all if i'd like it or not.

Yes -- I'd buy some beads for sure -- I do like the color idea as well as them being less likely to muck up a knife's scales.

There is lots of different ammo --- think of it like cars -- there are many "Chevys" -- Vettes , Camaros , Lumnina , etc. etc. There is Ball/FMJ ---- it can all be either ; 1 --- A VERY thick full jacket over a lead core 2 -- A very THIN full jacket over a lead core 3 -- A "wash"...

R --- also around the mid-1950's -- many people were shooting NRA Bulleye matches and were customizeing old WW1 / WW 2 1911's into Target guns --- the "standard load" for Bulleye became a 185gr. WadCutter --- if you did not get your chamber mouth "throated" or opened up -- the Wa...

OG = Original Gangster !!!

Correct --- they {InterNational Community} "outlawed" hollow point and soft point ammo for "civil" Wars. They were also called Dum Dums -- where you would have Mercury or cut/file the bullet tips.

The .45 FMJ's were the OG of the .45 ---- for one thing , they will feed a lot better then most other types of bullets thru very old 1911 type autos that do not have a ramped brl or a "throated chamber" as most modern 1911s do now. Also -- Ball ammo was the "standard" argeement o...
