Question for R2 users...

For those of you that love and use the R2, have you found anything that you didn't like about it functionally? Like, do the handle cutouts really attract dirt, get caught on stuff, prematurely wear pockets? I am interested in this model due to it's flat ground blade, deep choil and handle long enoug...

I bought a Caly3 last weekend at the Richmond gun show. Overall I liked it, but had trouble like David, getting it out of my pocket. I ended up loosening the clip just a little. Also, when I draw it I grip it like I normally would but use my middle finger pushing up on the clip. It pops right out of...

I guess mine would be the C15GPS Bob T. Just worried about damaging it since they're not being made anymore. First knife I really fell for.

I love the Para too... so much that I sold all my other medium and large one handers. The only other one handers I carry are office friendly Boker Subcoms. I hope the Para doesn't get changed too much particularly the handle/blade ratio. Too many folks are whining that the handle is too long to fit ...

Great score, Harry. I love my PE Para - I sold all of my other larger-than-2" folders b/c of it. Regarding the clip, I definately keep it on b/c it's just so convenient. I actually carry it clipped inside the waistband next to my cell phone and no one notices.

Prefer the Paramilitary by a large margin. I trust its Compression lock far more than any liner lock and I have had 3 Milis in my time. It's easier to carry more places, but mostly I like it better b/c of the lock.

Paramilitary. Choil grip for detail work, no choil grip for hard cutting but the handle isn't too long. Flat ground, compression lock. I love it.

I am amazed that more isn't said about that finish  JD, I guess it's b/c not many knives have this finish? With the apparent inability to high polish S30 like VG-10 I think that the stonewash increases rust resistance and you can never see finger smudges and light scratches on it. I miss ...

I don't like black blades in general mostly b/c of scratching issues.

I think that the BEST stainless finish is what's on the Sebenza and Benchmade Ritter Griptillians - I think it's called "stonewashed"?. I wish Spyderco put that finish on their S30 blades.

I voted No for the Starmate.

Now, I would definately vote a hearty YES! to bring back the C15 G10.
